Thank you for watching and being part of our community. We cherish the stories of those who came before us, and we’re glad to have you with us on this journey.
The Personality that caused me the most anguish was that of Alan Turin who did so much to break the secret German Engima code during WW2. He was a tortured soul who spent most of his young life under scrutiny. I believe I read somewhere he even went through the chemical castration process. What a waste of such a gifted individual. Rip, I hope u have found the peace u deserve.
.
Thank you for acknowledging the struggle and brilliance of Alan Turing.
Sydney Greenstreet. He played "the big man" Signor Ferrari in that Humphrey Bogart and Invrid Bergman masterpiece, Casablanca.
The first rock & roll casualty, Johnny Ace, died Christmas night 1954, shooting himself in the head accidentally while waving a gun around on a break during a concert in Houston.
Such a tragic and bizarre story from rock & roll history.
1954 was the year my Grandpa John and Grandma Rose got married and would be 70 years for them unfortunately my Grandma Rose passed away in 2006 at age 69 of cancer, my Grandpa John is 90 now and be 91 this year but is in hospice with kidney failure. I named my daughter Karsynns middle name Rose after my late Grandmother.
Among the missing: Fred Rose (12/1/1954), Amercan songwriter and music publisher, known for co-founding Acuff-Rose publishing with Roy Acuff. He was the music producer and manager of Hank Williams Sr., and wrote or co-wrote many songs, including "Kaw-Liga"and "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", among others. He died 1 year and 11 months to the day after Williams.
Fred Rose made a significant impact on the music industry with his talent and contributions.
So many gifted 📦 individuals passed that year including one of my favorite actors Lionel Barrymore who I wil never forget his robust voice in his appearance as Scrooge on tv
Lionel Barrymore truly left a mark with his performances. Grateful for the memories he shared with us.

It's Sad. but not Tragic. We. ALL gonna die
It's a sobering thought, but part of what makes life precious is its impermanence.
Thank you for sharing these memorials & their legacies.🕊🕊
I appreciate your kind words, thank you for watching!
The year of my birth.
Thank you for sharing this personal information.
It's so tragic that Alan Turing, a man who saved countless lives, was destroyed simply because of his sexual orientation.
Alan Turing was ahead of his time in more ways than one - a true genius with a tragic fate.
