always OEM size for these. Oversized valve wouldn't even fit on the valve seat correctly. And, yes would certainly add lag on a lower WHP street car. But, the valve size would have nothing to do with the piston to valve clearance. The outside diameter of the valve doesn't make the piston closer.
I have never seen the Kelford, but we were apart of the GSC development and on the stats you can see the GSC has about the same seat pressure but GSC has much more open pressure.
