It's based on a true story about a town, mostly made up of African Americans, in Rosewood, FL., and how the town was burned down and her people slaughtered. It's heartbreaking and horrific but worth watching. Highly recommend. A movie needs to be made for this one.

I recommend reading (Buried in the Bitter Waters) by Elliot Jaspin. This book list Two Hundred Twenty-Six black towns in America that met a similar fate. These atrocities happened throughout the country across ten southern states.

He can continue to exthort his lies and propaganda concerning covid-19 (attempted murder at best), Black Lives Matter (76% of the country is with them) and his success as a man, entrepreneur and president all of which have been spectacular failures. His downward slide into prison or obscurity should not be accompanied by this nation's downward slide into Fascism. Anyone who supports him at this point should be considered an enemy of democracy.

It is truly ridiculous that it has been white washed from our history. I actually covered the massacre on my podcast this last week where I used accounts from survivors of the attack. I still find myself dumbfounded at the extent that white supremacy still exists today.
