- People will forever argue what is the "best speaker in the world", but that's a futile argument with no universal answer.
However, what I try to do on my channel is feature speakers that try to push the envelope and come up with innovative ways to deliver superior performance. Whether it's Kii, Linkwitz, MBL, Alsyvox, Estelon, etc...you can find many innovations beyond the norm from many mfgs.
However, I don't think I've been blown away more in terms of "innovations" within one speaker design. This Aries Cerat Aurora speaker may eventually be considered revolutionary in many respects. I hope you enjoy this deeper look and dive.

Thanks and welcome to the channel!
The Aries Cerat "Aurora" speaker comes complete with the "Afterthought" stand designed to look like a tray table upon which your favorite TV dinner can be served. Nice. 🤙
I believe they have different options for stands. I've seen at least one other more artistic and less utilitarian.
@@AudiophileJunkie I've seen one other. It's infinitely preferable but who knows if it's actually available.🤷🏼♂️
You have to remember that this is serial #1 and just released. There are almost none out in public yet. These were what was available for the shows, and you can see where this stand is preferable for show conditions.
I'm sure you can get the other options they've developed.
magnificent sound.
wow damn wow I've seen countless speakers but that is sonic modern art
The ultimate point-source speaker 🔊
So thats easily closing in on half a million in this second setup right?
I took a look at the meridian system for home theater a while back and liked idea of separating out the audio signal from the HDMI connection but it's an older system who is no real updating these past few years and that hasn't received much support and has to be integrated with special speakers built to handle separate audio signal from within the meridian Family of products.
Yeah...that's an issue with home theatre. Things go out of date faster, and things are changing fast with video and surround options.
The lighting really worked for your presentation, don't think I've seen anything better looking than those amplifiers. Curious, what is the benefit of stackable subwoofers? I have one ASW 2000 BMW subwoofer and I guess you could argue a second one would offer sonic advantages but a stack of three subs on both side what seemed to be an overkill.
The stackable subs can be a trade-off. They often help load the room better and give a more dynamic sense of space.
The reality is that they are hard to dial in and can overwhelm things just because of the sheer volume and options for setting each one up.
@@AudiophileJunkie thank you very much. I remember Grateful Dead were masters at stacking speakers.
Hi there what is that high pitched beep in his house
Smoke alarm battery, but he needed to rent a scissor lift to get high enough to the ceiling where the smoke detectors are located.
Wow, and please am thinking of getting REL G2 subwoofer for my Wilson Audio TuneTot speakers because I don't have room for 2 subs. It is a good idea which dsp should I use with it or should I checkout a different brand of subwoofer?
They don't make those anymore. Wait until July for a new lineup from REL. You can email me for a dealer if you don't have one locally.
Were his smoke alarms chirping?
Yeah...needed to rent a scissor lift to reach them on the ceiling though, so couldn't just "fix" it easy
