100% agree, also what's great is the riders attitude, they don't complain about an aggressive overtake for two months like the GP guys. They love racing and enjoy the aggression.

I left GP a long while ago when Rossi faded and I'm also a massive kawasaki fan. This always has me on the edge of my seat. It's awesome.

There is very good racing happening among three championship contenders at the top of their game right now. That’s what matters. That’s what’s golden about this moment, and that’s who we need to be talking about. Not faded glory.

That's what an additional 1500rpms will get you. Joke that Ducati gets 16,100 limit and Kawasaki gets a 14,600 and Yamaha a 14,950 rev limit.

Maybe, but I very much doubt it, and we may never know. The Ducati works for Bautista because he's so small and light, but the corner speed and braking of the Ducati is not nearly as good as Toprak on the Yamaha. So on balance I think the Yamaha is better for Toprak.

Everyone was saying Ducati has an unfair advantage due to a much higher redline. To the point tha Suzuki dropped out in protest. So why don't the other companies make better engines to compete w/Ducati?

You can't look at it that way, sometimes everything needs to click together for a rider to be fast bouth in WSBK and Motogp. Bautista was slow on a Honda and he was regularly challenged by Haslam who was easily beaten by Rea, so we can't really know who is at what level.

That Ducati have a serious top end but lack of low end and breaks but the guy make a oustanding job in a track like that just perfect its more interesting than look a Motogp race, i liked
Low end doesn't matter in racing. You are always keeping the engine in its happy revs and the bikes are geared accordingly. Racing is not the same as street riding.

Toprak knew he had to be aggressive/hard on the throttle coming out of that last turn. Ducati has an unfair amount of power on the straights .. it’s ridiculous. Can’t wait for the next Gen R1..they’re way way past due. Every other manufacturer has since updated since Yamaha in 2015.
In my opinion, nowadays the WSBK race is more interesting to watch than MOTOGP, in the WSBK race we are treated to the spectacle of racers overtaking each other, unlike in MOTOGP, which only watches motorcycle convoys.
Yamaha is doing pretty poor whether it's wsbk or MotoGP .
People will say quartararo is leading the championship but that's due to the rider prowess than the bike itself.
toprak should change team. kawasaki and ducati both faster then yamaha on the straight line.
Does Winglet play big part of down force at the finish line, Or Ducati just had the top end power as usual? Overall a great battle between these two.

It isn't so much the power of the Ducati...all of the top 3 riders have blazingly fast machines. Bautista, however, is very small and weighs a lot less than Razgatlioglu and a little less than Rea. At this level of racing, even a few Kg in weight can make the difference.
@@tonebonetones don't forget that they have wheelie control per corner, litterely PER corner it can be adjusted, they could have adjusted wheelie control to be tighter out of last corner, but also means it would cut power so wheelie or put less power down.

Raz/Bau battles remind me of the Rossi/Stoner duels, Same Manufacturers (I understand its MotoGP, still) very similar as Rossi could throw that R1 around more and was wicked late on the breaks, more than Stoner could muscle that Ducati (he was the only one who could tame it) However THAT POWER,,, of the Ducati was unreal.
Seemingly, not a great deal has changed since 2008 in those two manufacturer strengths and vulnerabilities. That V4 is so fast.
These WSBK, especially the top 8 or so are truly skilled racers. I hope people are appreciating this circuit.
tbh, this is remind me with rossi vs elias in 2006 estoril, and rins vs marc in 2019 silverstone.

Toprak and Johnny need to forget the mid-race scrapping and make the break from Alvaro, then settle it in last 2 or 3 laps. They are just handing the win to Alvaro on a plate, slowing each other up and allowing Alvaro to pick them off with his superior straight line speed.

Yes ducati have rpm advantage over all the bikes out there.. u can see all races. U wil see ducati overtakes in a straight road. Top end speaks....
@@anands3880rpm doesn't matter as much. Speed is a matter of power and gearing. More RPM require shorter gearing for the same speed. Ducati has a big power advantage and that allows it to accelerate faster and sustain higher speeds. If two bikes make 250hp, they can both sustain the same top speed, it doesn't matter at what RPM each bike peaks, gearing is adjusted accordingly. Have a big power and sustain it as much as possible and gearing will do the rest.
