I love conviction, I love forgiveness, but I would rather be righteous and have the love of Christ❤
God put this on my phone and I’m struggling with fighting against lust. I genuinely wanna stop with constantly falling to lust, especially knowing what it costed me and it’s genuinely very hard. I pray for strength to fight against lust.
Submit to the Lord when being tempted then command that spirit of lust to be cast off you in Jesus name! Speak to that lust spirit and comman it to leave in Jesus name! Get prayer from another believer filled with God's Holy Spirit to pray with you! I'll pray for your strength now in Jesus name! Jesus please help my brother get the victory over this lust battle! I been through it and every now and then it hits me and I command it to leave in Jesus name and I pray the Lord strengthens me to go through it and not fall into it!

Love God with your soul, mind and strength. God has a heart for everyone he has healed he has fed us he has taught us and he took care of us. Jesus died on the cross for our sin Jesus shed blood for us he created a path for us and he always have forgiveness and mercy to offer in times of need. Do NOT have " don't think about sex" mindset have mindset of "god has a heart for me god put many blessings in my life" Goodness of God leads to repentance which is the key to greater obedience. When having a lustful thought remember god has a heart for you god loves you and his heart is too desirably bless us. Next time when falling into temptation look around you look at all the amazing things god has done for you and all the things he blessed you with. Gratitude is the opposite of lust because gratitude tells you "i have i have i have" while lust tells you "i want i want i want" respond to temptation with gratitude. When dealing with temptation do not think " i need to fix this" instead think of what's all God has done for you and thank him for it. The word rhema is another word for Spoken word. Another way of dealing with temptation is too always keep a bible verse to help you rather if you have to listen to memorize it or read it over and over do those to make sure you memorize it. If you are struggling with a sin be sure to talk to someone specifically a trusted person and never be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Despite falling into sin always remember god forgives and has a heart for you and desires to bless you. You are not saved by your good deeds and good works you are saved from your faith in Jesus. god's gospel is the key to victory own gospel and embrace the gospel. Purity isn't something we obtain but it is a natural result of loving god

If you know what you are practicing is wrong but for some reason you keep going back make prayers to god to allow you to feel godly sorrow because that leads to repentance unto life. The Bible says not by might nor by power but by his spirit. Gods holy spirt within us will allow us to feel godly sorrow unto life if we ask and allow it to happen🙏🏾

Ty brother in Christ! I've been struggling with giving my all to God bcuz I've came from a harsh season of backsliding, but i couldn't get rid of certain Secular music, lust (stemming from my thoughts), and spending too much of my time to TV after I had a heartfelt talk with God. Even tho I'm working on giving God my best first thing in the mornint to spend time with Him, I was so frustrated and confused why I was pretty overwhelmed with coming back to Him bcuz I didn't understand I didn't wanna give certain sins up in my life.. I do wanna give my all but idk if I'm ready yet-- but God's still good bcuz He's so patient and gave me this to look at and think about!!
This came by fast. I had my quiet time with God and asked him if I was doing something wrong. I make paper cranes, devotions, read the bible etc etc. I genuinely like doing that and spending time with him. Me and my brother had a conversation about Bible stuff and he assumed I was doing this just to get to heaven and I want to go but also have a relationship with god and know about him a lot more. Im trying to get away from sin and cut things out of my life that I used to do and put my past self to death. I asked him if what I was doing was wrong and I guess this video helped me out a bit. I gotta ask him to change my heart further. I know he sees me trying. So Im really happy that i can keep doing what Im doing (bible stuff) and change my heart. Thank you.

I've never gotten super bad into sin because I've grown up religious, but I did get into some things in middle school and stuff. ever since i was 7 i always battled with feeling like i was under conviction but i never felt like i could be saved no matter how many times i prayed and asked God to save me. A couple years ago in 2022 i was under conviction and i asked God to save me and i felt a bit of peace and joy and i felt like i should get up and tell my church i was saved. i felt like i had been saved but it was still hard to tell because after i got home i felt like "what if i didnt really get saved, what if i lied, what if i have to get back up and tell everyone i was wrong and i wasnt saved". But I decided to live in salvation and faith just try to believe and ask God to help me where i dont believe. The biggest sin in my life at that time wasnt something i wanted to go back to after that and i havent so far by the grace of God. Then i had another problem that God took care of at the beggining of 2024 and i havent gone back to that in a year (once again by the grace of God). Mid 2023, I saw a video on youtube of a woman saying christians need to be careful what they listen to. i listen to all types of stuff, at that time my favorite band was system of a down and they swear alot, but i loved their music so much i got super scared about "what if i have to stop listening to them" i kept feeling bad about it and slowly stopped listening to them but i was still listening to all types of music with all types of bad stuff in it, swearing, sexual stuff, and sometimes even kind of blasphemous stuff. I never tried to pay too much attention to the lyrics and i would always shrug it all off. It had snowballed to the point where i was no longer thinking "i just need to clean up my music and not listen to bad stuff" but i was thinking "its a sin to listen to any secular music at all" and that's where im at right now. last summer i had gone to a week long revival and about halfway through i had decided that the reason i needed to get rid of secular music was because it was an idol. so for about a month or so i only listened to music that was either worship music or like music made by Christian artists, but then i started listening to just instrumental stuff like videogame music and then i was listening to just stuff in other languages so that way none of the words or anything would effect me spiritually/mentally. and then i was to the point where i was just listening to whatever but making sure the lyrics were clean and not sinful or anything, and right now i just trying to take a break from any music period because it just stresses me out too much to think about. I do not want to give up secular music. I can't decide if God actually wants me to give all secular music up or not. the decision that makes the most sense to me and that i would really prefer it to be is that God just wants me to clean up what i listen to, just dont listen to explicit stuff and listen to things with good messages in it even if its not pure worship of God. But i cant help but think that that would just make me lukewarm and that God wants me to give it all up. but then it scares me more to think about what else God might ask me to give up, maybe next he'll make me stop playing my favorite videogames, or watching the shows i like, or the youtubers i wanna watch, or ill have to stop wearing shorts or tanktops, ect etc. I really just want a direct answer from God that isn't devastating. I've prayed that if he wants me to stop listening completely to secular music to just send me edifying music that i'd prefer better. ive found a couple good songs but nothing better. and not enough to completely replace the music im listening to now. And all throughout this i constantly doubt my salvation too. that im not good enough, that im missing something, that im not really saved, that im not allowing God to actually love me, etc. and this makes me so scared to even just open my Bible. I'm forcing myself to run to God because i know that's the way but everything i feel makes me want to run from God. I feel like God is going to reject me because im not doing good enough, or im sinning too much. I'm very confused and every corner of my life feels like another burden and i dont feel free to run to God. I feel like anytime i pray it's not gonna reach him because im not believing in Jesus good enough or repenting good enough. I feel like it's a problem with me because i cant find/hear the right answer from God about things like secular music and where to take my life next with college etc. I feel so alone and inadequate and I feel like God doesnt want to hear from me unless i get rid of every sin in my life for good immediately. sorry for how long this is, but I guess just pray for me please. also this is a good video, when you were talking about not feeling good enough it was touching on exactly what ive been struggling with, but i still have a long way to go to be fully at peace in my relationship with God. Sometimes i forget His love is unconditional
Growing up, I have always been an over achiever in everything. I also brought this habit into my religious life and have made promises that I have not been able to keep. I just don’t know what to do right now 😭 I would really appreciate some guidance with this 😭 I’ve been watching some of your videos and you always know what to say. Sometimes I ask myself whether or not I’m taking advantage of God’s grace, or if allowing myself to be happy or move on from what I’ve done is selfish. God’s grace should bring bringing joy and not anxiety about this, so I’m gonna stop worrying and slowly start God to transform me so I don’t drive myself crazy trying to fix myself knowing full well I can’t 😅

I felt like this just today. Thank you again. But yeah, it's not what we do, is it... It's whether we obey God or not in _what_ we do. I'm still learning this, Jesus even warned us that it is whether we obey Him in faith or not that counts. But there is also hope, since we all fall short of God's glory. God gives us freedom in Jesus, but if we're always attempting the self-improvement ourselves then we're kind of giving misplaced affection on rituals, aren't we. And even Jesus, who created the universe, set the example for us: He wasn't constantly doing miracles, nor does He constantly do ones that we see with our eyes on a daily basis: _Unless_ we can see how miraculous His creation is, and that it was _Him_ that did it, not us. Then we will be filled with awe when we thank Him. When I forget to thank God for something, it becomes easy to forget that we should thank God for everything He lets us endure, since we do not endure temptation that we cannot handle.

Speaking of promises, Jesus says not to make any sort of vow, which can be kinda like a promise. Anything can happen, stopping us from doing what we promise to God.
Something I like doing is having an idea in my mind of what I'm gonna do, but not speak on it until I cross the bridge and get to that point, then I'll be able to discern how much I'll be able to do, however, this can only really help for smaller things, but I hope it helps someone.

I want you to understand that this video, YOUR video was pushed to me, and God, with his greatness used YOUR words to light me up. People always say that "God told me," or "God spoke to me," without ever saying how. And that leads people to believe that theg will hear his booming voice, and hear him speak. But thats not the case.... at least i dont think it is. However, I know that God is real, and I know that he sent me this video, YOUR video, and used your mind, and your thoughts to guide me in the right direction. And for that I am grateful to you, and my heavenly father up above. I know there has to be more videos out there with this similar topic, and dad will use those videos to guide other people as yours did for me. I love this life, the life with my heavenly father. I’m struggling with still communicating with my ex. I feel like God has told me to leave it alone but I kept going back over and over and over again for 3 1/2 years. We’ve probably broken up over 100 times. I know he isn’t going to treat me right and I know that it’s gonna lead to temptation to lust and fornicate. I’m trying to stay no contact and just move on with life but the pull to him is still there. The idea of just going back to him getting married is still there even though deep down inside I know it will never work because we are unequally yoked

Do I have to ask for forgiveness when I sin or when we accept Christ are we already clean and forgiven from all sin?
It’s good to ask for forgiveness and not just keep it in because it will honestly help you repent, especially confessing it to people. But anytime you know you messed up talk to God about it and ask for strength!
