I can't tell if the lyrics are really depressing or really hopeful. Like "I hate myself; that's ok. It's a part of letting go." That could be that he accepts how he feels about himself and so he's letting go of those negative emotions OR he says letting go as in taking his own life? 🤷🏻♀️
You'd think because of the name that it would be the second thought? But honestly I think it's the first one
it's about acceptance, acknowledging the fact you hate yourself for what you've done and coming to terms with it so you can move on + experience that catharsis, rather than burying the truth of your emotions, lying to yourself and ultimately poisoning your conscience
