'Before The Dawn' is one of the most beautiful and memorable songs I've ever heard in my life. I honestly think I cried every time I listened to it while reading the lyrics, especially in one of Intak's verses where he asks if it's difficult and tells the listener not to worry, because he'll catch them, and says that if you know someone who is also in the same position as you once were, trapped, you should reach out to them. It breaks my heart to know that so many Piwon listeners don't like this song because of the autotune at the beginning, when it actually has such a wonderful meaning and one of the best lyrics I've ever read. Before The Dawn was my favorite P1H song for a long time, and to this day, after listening to all of Piwon's albums so far, I don't think it's ever left my Top 3 songs. Seeing the lyricism of this song gain recognition fills my heart with gratitude, because I honestly think it's one of the songs that helps me the most when I'm worrying about future plans and aproval of others. Simply fantastic.
It’s so wonderful. The writing is impeccable. Just creates a whole new appreciation of them for me.
I really enjoyed your reaction to these songs...especially Before The Dawn. Thank you for taking the time to read the lyrics. They are so powerful and yes...the rap line members (Intak, Jongseob, and Jiung) wrote the lyrics about the struggle and frustration they experienced as trainees not knowing if they'd ever get a chance to debut/fulfill their dreams. (BTW...they were 16-19 y/o when they wrote these lyrics)! It's really a masterpiece.
I really hope you can make it to one of their Utopia Tour dates in May/June. They are AMAZING live performers. You won't regret it! They are going to be in L.A. on May 16th (tickets start at $54.50).

You're totally right about 'follow me' being a concert song. I've never seen it live (but hopefully they'll perform it during their upcoming tour I'm going to!!), but I always see live videos of their performances and it looks so hype and fun. They def have a lot energy when they perform and people always say their concerts are a great experience.

I went to their second tour, and educated my friends on Follow Me. There's a part where the audience have to participate and it's so hype. I think confetti fell when we all jumped. One of the highlights of that concert for me. I do hope they do it for the third tour.
I saw them twice in concert and they're so incredible live! They bring the energy and the atmosphere is always fun! They're going in tour again and I HAD to get tickets, a must see for sure!

about before the dawn im so so grateful and happy that you noticed and talked about lyrics of before the dawn. as someone said in comment below, this song does not get enough credits just because the autotune at the beginning. but those lyrics are so beautiful, real and touching.
also as you said that peacemaker choreo was your favorite, please look at the lyrics - it also has a beautiful lyrics. and this choreo makes more sense with knowing the meaning of this song(for example this part at the end when maknaes(intak, soul and jongseob) line "lifts up" their hyungs)).

I saw piwon in Chicago in 2022 and I’m so excited to see them again this year 😭 do it like this live was amazing the way the whole venue was chanting the chorus was unreal
Also they’re coming back to LA in June I believe!

In fact, they have dance practices for almost all of their p-sides on all albums and a lot of lives from showcases or concerts, which include songs that do not have dp and a couple of ballads (they also on their channel which is not banned on reactions), so I'm sure you won't miss. I actually really wanted to ask you to watch the dp and lives, because they're all amazing and I highly recommend watching both for each song (if ofc they are)
And "before the dawn", yeah... Honestly? I cried so hard the first time I read the lyrics and I keep getting goosebumps every time I listen to this song, just like peacemaker. I can't find the words how fucking much I adore these two songs, they're amazing

There is something so hopeful about Before the Dawn that stops me from crying when I think about it, even tho that would be a completely warranted response to it 😭 I need to see the lyrics to peacemaker as well.
