In our country, Somalia 🇸🇴 immediately after the child starts speaking we took them to (dugsi). You might find 7 years old memorized the Holly Qur'an. My younger brother memorized Qur'an 3 times while was 10 years old. May Allah reward him jannah.

Music is Harām and all of their instruments are Harām according to the clear Hadīth in Sahīh Al-Bukhārī.
It is also deemed Harām in the Qur'ān according to the interpretation of the Sahābah of certain verses.
The duff is only to be played in three occasions. In the wedding. After one's returning from a journey out of joy and on 'Eīd. Apart from this is Harām and only the women can beat them, for the men are prohibited to do so as it is an act in which the men would be imitating them.
