There must have been a technique to move and set megaliths that we are unaware of today. Seems like there are so many examples around the world. I wish we could figure it out.
Have a look at the people of Sumba Island in Indonesia, they're still building megalithic tombs/monuments to their ancestors and up until recently did it with no machinery. ...They use trucks today for the long journeys but still pull them by hand on and off and for the placing. It's a big communal event, hundred of then pulling handmade ropes, the stones bound onto sleds carved from tree trunks, running on rollers. It's amazing to watch... gives a window into the great events these constructions would have been for those building them... very different from the sombre, silent, church-like image of them we see. ...There would have been hundreds of people there when they were made, very likely chanting rhythmically to synchronise their pulling... having a whale of a time.
Thanks, always pleased to view another dolmen. He's a little beauty that one at 17:00, stalwart fellow!

The second one reminds me of a giant boat burial. 𖠳ᛉ🜨꩜☾ᛦ
