The plain KitKat Chunky is by far the best. Don’t know why they have to keep messing with different flavours!!
Revels contain different flavours. Orange, coffee, raisins, chocolate etc in the packet. Thats why they are different sizes

Play Revels Roulette, it’s like Russian Roulette but the loser is the one that gets a bad flavour (many people would say the coffee one) 😳

Biscuits: shortbread, custard creams, chocolate digestives, ginger nuts, jammy dodgers, rich tea dunked in a cup of tea, in fact dunk all biscuits in a cup of tea! Dunk a Kit Kat in tea too!
Cakes: apple turnover with fresh cream, custard slice, eclair with fresh cream
Cadburys fingers “ but today is Harry the Spiders coming out party” - classic. Or try Terrys chocolate orange, Fry’s Turkish Delight or Fry’s Chocolate cream- all fabulous.
I'm surprised at your reactions to Revels. They're my favourite choccy treat, and there is a big variety of flavours in each pack.

If i remember rightly Revels is mixed theres a coffee, orange, raisin, toffee and a malteaser style one thats why there all different shapes

US milky way is not the same type of bar to UK milky way, so you can't compare them, if you really want a good chocolate bar try the Cadbury double decker.

Chocolates are not usually advertised on UK tv because of its unhealthy content particularly regards to children. I have spent some time in the US and they tend to devour anything with a ton of sugar in. It is their norm, hence their pumped up look. Is slim illegal?
Oh I bet you ate the coffee revel first, bad luck 😂 they don’t all taste that bad, my favs the minstrels (the plain choc disc) or even better if u have a few of each all at once 😊

They're pretty similar. I feel like the Mars bar is better, but that comes down to chocolate quality most likely.
We don’t have the kitkat jingle, we just have a hook line that just says “have a break, have a kitkat”.

The Birds trifle is revolting when compared to a homemade trifle ( adult version with a small glass of sherry or rum soaked into the sponge)

It was alright. It might be the only chocolate product that I prefer the US version of. I guess we've had better UK white chocolate than the Milky bar though.

Also, as for chains to try out, it's not exactly a restaurant (I suppose its more of a chain bakery for want of a better description) but Gregg's have a whole bunch of products that are worth checking out while you're here. Most of the fast food chains are stuff you'll have seen in the states, but even then I guess there'll be menu items here that you won't have over there (just like there are menu items over there that we don't get over here).

We are definitely trying Greggs while we're there.
The Revels are actually all different flavours, not all raisin-mush flavour!
The smallest one is usually a chocolate covered raisin.
The next biggest is a hard caramel.
The next two similar sized ones are orange and coffee. There is jeopardy because a lot of people don't like coffee and you can't tell if you will get orange or coffee.
The biggest ones are honeycomb, like a Malteser.
The flat, coin-like ones are just chocolate, similar to a Minstrel.
Honeycomb sounds good!

They are Maltesers, no honeycomb ones. Used to be chocolate covered peanuts in there but they disappeared presumably because of allergies.
Maltesers are malt balls.
The packaging on toffee crisp being similar to Reece’s is why you don’t have them! Instead of changing the US packaging Nestle decided to just not sell toffee crisp in the US. It’s one of my favourite chocolate bars, so simple but delicious!

If it was Milky Way crispy rolls you've been trying to get, unfortunately they have been discontinued :( I love Magic Stars, the best way to have them is to pour them into a bag of popcorn (sweet & salty is my go-to) and give it a shake - so simple, yet so good!

It's the same, but also the Mars bar is better than our Milky Way. Any recommendations on must visit places in Wales? We missed visiting on our recent trip, but definitely want to visit next time we go to the UK.
I'm really enjoying your reactions to our chocolates and sweets. I have a few suggestions of things for you to try, frys chocolate cream is gorgeous and has been around forever, Turkish delight which is one of my personal favourites and also the rose and lemon Turkish delight which is very sweet and you only really see it at Christmas and also jelly tots which are very sweet but awesome 👌
Has to be Fry's Turkish Delight. Tastes nothing like actual Turkinsh Delight from Turkey though!

You need to try British Orange Fanta vs US Orange Fanta. British one more natural and less sugar. Also its time to see you try Robinsons squashes... blackcurrant, blackcurrant and apple, and orange
Or Robinsons lemon barley that's always been my favourite, although they also do a really nice mint and lime cordial.
Nestle's UK base is in York because that's where Rowntrees/Mackintosh is from. They invented kit-kat, rolo, aero, smarties, fruit pastilles, yorkie, lion bar, after eights, polo's, munchies, caramac, and boxes of chocolates too such as quality Street, dairy box, black magic and they were the fourth biggest chocolate company in the world before Nestle took them over in the late 80s.

If you want a kit-kat Japan is the place to order from, they have some reilly weird flavoured kit-kats
It is Tunnocks and they come from Scotland. Tunnocks products form the major part of the Scottish diet which explains the high levels of obesity and diabetes. Available in the whole UK.
What!! Noooo... That's not a proper trifle! A decent trifle has layers of lady's fingers (soaked in sherry or coffee liqueur), fruits and berries, jelly (or jello as you guys call it), custard and whipped cream. Now that's a trifle!

I second that, while chocolate trifle is ok you cant beat a proper traditional fruit trifle.
What you really want to try is Ferrero Rocher. Not British (they're Italian) but my favourite chocolates ever.

M&S is class. Try original Percy Pigs and any other type you fancy, cheese twists (very good), salt and pepper twists, their pizza maybe.

Not a fan of the product but for jingles "The Milky Bar Kid is big and tough/And only the best is good enough/Nestle's Milky Bar". Search UA-cam for the cute child in a cowboy outfit. Actually, if you can be bothered to search UK commercial jingles on UA-cam, search "Secret Lemonade Drinker". The music was written and performed by Elvis Costello's father.

Comparing American and British chocolate is like comparing muck with nettles. I'm an American living in the UK but who previously lived in Switzerland and Belgium. If you want really good chocolate, buy Belgian or Swiss. American and British chocolates are much too sugary.
The owner of Tunnocks Sir Boyd Tunnock was waiting for a flight to Wick before lock down and was chatting to our neighbor’s. He gave them a Tunnocks Caramel wafer with a special wrapper. he uses them as his business cards!
Two products with Toffee, you both Keep on Insisting it's Caramel they taste different!
The next time you make it, sprinkle the sponge/biscuits with some sherry/sweet wine, leave it to soak in, it is traditional and gives it a more grown up (whatever that is) taste.

Magic stars are my absolute favourite chocolate. Every Sunday I would go to the corner shop to get my grandad's newspaper and he'd give me an extra 20p to get a one of the little packet of magic stars. Nestle chocolate is pretty poor. A pale shadow of the brands and products they took over. For mass produced chocolates, stick with Galaxy & Cadbury. Toffifee are just odd Euro crap that you see around Christmas, that no one really likes. Regular Kit-Kats are better than the chunky ones.

Depending on where abouts you are staying in the UK then head to Cheddar Gorge in Somerset. So beautiful and the cheese shop will give you a taste of the real Cheddar. Or if near the Cotswolds then head to the Three ways house hoteland book in for dinner there. They do the pudding club which is literally course after course of proper british puddings....arrive hungry lol

The milky bar, although not your favourite had a good jingle on the TV ads growing up, The milky bar kid, is strong and tough, only the bar is good enough, it's the milky bar kid 😄something like that, then there's the finger of fudge. Is just enough to give your kids a treat, it's full of Cadbury goodness and very small and neat, ...
With the revels it's random which flavour you will get from each. One will be Coffee, one will be malteser, one will be raisin, one will be orange, one will be chocolate, and one will be toffee.

Another great video, if in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 then I would highly recommend a visit to Waitrose Supermarket and cafe’. It’s where all the posh people shop and their food is excellent quality!
Every pack of revels has different flavours in Coffee, Orange, Maltesers, caramel and raisins, not raisin flavouring or mushed up raisins, just a whole raisin coated in chocolate 🤦🏻♀️

The Revel advert plays on the fact that people like some but not all flavours! Harry Potter movie had something similar but more extreme.
Aero is nestle and cheap tasting. Wispa are superior by far. Our Kit Kat’s were the original. Invented in the uk, way before other countries tried to say it was theirs.

I’m surprised you didn’t try the Cadburys range of chocolate bars etc. They aren’t as good as they used to be, but still pretty decent, especially Flake, that is the best chocolate ever!!
Defo go Marks and Spencers, probs one of our favourite supermarkets (grocery stores). Think you should try their chocolate teacakes, sour cream & jalapeño combo crisp mix, sweet chilli handcooked crisps, honey roasted cashews, toffee and pecan meringue roulade, apple crumble with warm madagascan custard, yum yums, percy pigs, veggie colin & connie caterpillars sweets, the hot section sausage rolls, maybe even try a few of their fresh cookies in the bakery section and mini colin the caterpillar cakes

I would recommend you try the rib n’ saucy nick naks (lol I suggest them every time). Yorkie raisin and biscuit chocolate bar, Biscoff spread or biscuits, anything from Marks and Spencer, and some proper English food from a local pub! 😂

Milky bar I feel is the first kind of sweet you would introduce young children to over here in the UK as well as Milky Way, Magic Stars and Caramac. I used to buy Caramac on my way to dance class LOL. Revels is what I eat at the cinema, I love them - they are all different flavours inside. Toffifee however you spell that is a traditional Christmas gift in my family .
