I seen Gene at the Surf Ball room on Mat 2 2018 and was amazed at how good his voice was. I even told him so back stage. Before and after the show, Gene would hang out at the side door of the stage and take comments from the fans. He was cool. I even got to talk to him by himself in the Hotel lobby while he was checking in. Total chance encounter.
If I was Paul I would be embarrassed to perform live. No shame in tuning down or taking a break to figure it out. It might be best to stop. How can he sing in a 3 year farewell tour? It’s sad but Father Time has put a claim on Paul Stanley’s voice and nothing is going to change that. But he had a amazing run. One of the best of all time in my opinion.

Or maybe you could be supportive no matter what of the one guy who never lost vision and was already sacrificing every thing to keep KISS moving...I love Kiss and I love and respect Paul and yes his voice isn't what it was but I can be forgiving and put up with some rough notes because in 2018 I still have my band that has gotten me through the lowest points in my life. Going to see a KISS show or putting on a record still is a scared thing for me and because a guy I enjoy and look up to at nearly 70 years old doesn't sing like he used to is not going to ruin it or make me sad. They need to de-tune or tune down about a whole step. I think they already go a half, but they can't hit the high stuff anymore. That happens when you get older, but they need to do it.
