Those two bursts of sound at the beginning weren't glitches, actually. That is the "Silent Test" function. It's used test sirens without disturbing the public, hence the "silent" moniker. Also, very nice dual-tone catch.
I think you're the first person to record the Silent Test feature on any Alertronic/iForce/E-class siren in existance. The tone is exclusive to ASC, but it's rarely implemented due to it's insignificance. Most cities that have ASC electronic sirens will just use an actual siren tone to test their sirens instead of the Silent Test tone.
Awesome video! Love the old dual toned controller. Must have been the same ones that the old rotating Alertronics that ACA made had too. I wonder if their newer controls have a dual toned option like Federal’s UltraVoice does, because that would be cool!
May I use part of your video in a compilation? Namely, the silent test portion (and that weird spark at 0:50). I will link your video in my description.
0:16 1:11 silent test signal
Wow how beautiful a dual toned alertronic

Craig Baker: cool
No other siren in rockwall has ever done this except for the p-50, which did a few growls before it did a loud test.

I think they still make dual toned controlers
0:49 wtf was that spark? Why did the siren spark and continue to work? I have to know!

Sure go ahead
I wonder what could have caused the spark.
hi siren archives :3
Me being an idiot in the background lol. Nice one!
WhammyP-50: it’s fine, we all do that sometimes
Oh the first tones are a silent test tone tbh I would be laughing if I recorded that tone lol 😂
That blue label... Is that an ASC label perhaps?
It probably is,
Its probably an asc
It IS an ASC.
*"silent test" tone sounds like a alien abduction*
Yep it really does!
@@OWS_Crazy1 Whoo
Why does it have a silent wind up?
That’s something that AlerTronics always do
They must warm up their drivers, thats why.
All the other asc sirens do that, well at least the e class and the I force do
Did this replace a older siren
They replaced all of them except for one, which is the P-10 by the water tower
@@OWS_Crazy1 the replaced that siren to
I’m aware
2:02
I wished I can met you too. We call it WhammyP-50 and OWS Crazy1 groups as a team siren fans. Me Whammy and you together.
Adam Carter: Idk, it’s probably most likely for just me to meet with you.
We could probably meet up in MicKinney on August.
And WhammyP-50 too hopefully. I don't know If I will make it to mckinney next saturday because sometimes busys or even if it rains also. Will see.
I’m coming too lmao I live near there sooo
Crazycats45: you live in Rockwall? Do you hear the the sirens when they test?
OWS Crazy1 well I live in Dallas right next to a fire station that has an old thunderbolt (no longer in use) but Rockwall is not that far of a drive
What were those noises? Anyway nice video!
ClumooStudios: those are glitches
OWS Crazy1 but why did it glitch?
ClumooStudios: I have no idea
OWS Crazy1 huh
Most likely radio interference.
Its just a silent test
Yeah true lol
It sparked at 0:50
