I use a small cookie scoop (maybe 1 oz), and this adjustment makes around 32-34 cookies per batch. - ~178 g browned butter (2 sticks unsalted butter) - 254.2 g brown sugar - 63.55 g granulated sugar - 1 brown egg + 1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon of a beaten egg - 1 tablespoon + ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract - 279.6 g all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt - 280 g semi-sweet chocolate chips I use a food scale, so I'm sorry for not having additional measurement conversions.

I've made browned butter to add to a cookie recipe. I hadn't done that before. I made sure to stir it continuously. The butter did get a beautiful golden color... then it got darker. There were some brown flecks and a lot of black flecks in it. I didn't brown it on high heat. I'd say it was medium high. But watching this I saw where I messed up. I will have the heat at a lower setting in the future.
