Originaire de NYC, adepte des mêmes excentricités vestimentaires que sa grande sœur l’excellente Cyndi LAUPER, son accent n’est pas sans rappeler celui de l’inimitable Mia FRYE autre new yorkaise célèbre. Pour sa grande première POTT met à l’honneur la californienne Paula Abdul qui a fêté ses 62 ans ce 19 juin 2024, on la retrouve ici dans le vidéoclip de son mega hit "Straight Up" sorti en 1988 (une année décidément historique !) chez Virgin Records. L’occasion pour nous d’apprécier les talents de danseuse de celle qui fut notamment meneuse de revue des Cheerleaders des Los Angeles LAKERS (NBA). Happy Birthday Paula ! 🎂😍🏀

Born and raised in NYC, keen on the same sartorial eccentricities as her big sister the one and only Cyndi LAUPER, her accent is reminiscent of another famous New Yorker choreographer and dancer Mia FRYE. For its big premiere POTT honors the great Paula Abdul who celebrated her 62nd birthday on June 19th 2024, here is the video clip for her mega hit "Straight Up" released in 1988 (a decidedly historic year !) and produced by Virgin Records.
