It's not about the enemy, it's about team mates if my team doesn't die in 1 vs 1 for nothing and waits for my ganks i can do this almost every time, bcs popol it's a bit cringe at lvl 4 :D
Using retri way early is too risky when taking level 1 buff. I just wait for last hit or next in case for sudden jg invade from enemy. But then again, popol can clear jungle very fast that’s why I think you are using it early.
I m using it when I assume enemy won't invade depends on theyr picks and also popol can clear fast and if you use retri when the buff spawn you will have it again for your other buff in case enemy wants to invade then, if you will use retri for last hit you won't have for next buff.
