I think your lives should be on prescription. You certainly do us all so much good. So much laughter so much information boy I’m 10 years younger after my hour of Cog Hill Farm.
Y'all are a hoot😂 i love watching your videos, i know Y'all have ups and downs, we all do. But we also have days when we need a good chuckle, and i actually have learned a lot about gardening and trying out Brooks recipes. God bless.
I love how down to earth you are!! But not knowing nothing about farm living, it amazes me how much you have to deal with in any given day!! You have to wear numerous hats!! It's wonderful how you bring up different and unique things!! Just saying Catherine always has something up her sleeves, better watch her!!!
I agree, never run out of gas or diesel in a vehicle. All the sediment in your tank will run in the engine. I may be a woman, but I'm a muscle car driver lol .
Back in the day, before cable tv, tv shows premiered approximately the same day every year, in the fall. Typically they filmed 13 episodes, 1 a week. Then spring would start the repeats thru the summer. Then fall would start the cycle all over again. Everyone would look forward to the season premiers. We also had the TV Guide, which was like a small book. All that was back in the good old days. I said all that to explain why those shows you mentioned premiered on the same day, lol.
Another by-gone product that came out with the seasons: catalogs. Sears, Penneys, Wards, Spiegel were the biggest ones....I looked forward every Fall to order new school shoes & clothes. Everyone LOVED the Christmas catalog/wishbook I forgot some of the other smaller catalogs... Aldens, I remember. Maybe National Bell or Hess something?? Anyone else remember some other catalogs?
I lOVE LOVE LOVE my new Cog Hill shirt. I got the red v-neck with the original decal. It is bigger than I expected but that's just fine, its better than too small. And it is the softest material EVER!!! My family, in fact, just said the other day...I see youre wearing your Cog farm shirt again! LOL. "YEs, Yes I am!!!"
I'm watching replay and you all have a wonderful night I've been busy outside and I totally forgot about your life that's okay though I don't mind watching you replay❤
In Australia, it's either petrol or diesel. The word fuel is used and there are signs saying fuel, but we generally say petrol or diesel. And yes, I ran out of petrol once. And I've also limped into the servo, service station, on petrol fumes. 😉😁 That was years ago. I'm older and wiser now. 😁
I think we always say we ran out of gas ⛽️. Loved the live, interesting how different people eat their watermelon 🍉. I'm just plain jane, no salt scoop it out and enjoy. Might have to try the different things. Thank you for the live, Jason and Brooke
Here in CA we run out of gas too. So far I've never ran out of gas, feel like I was close a few times. I love watching you guys and laugh along too. My grandfather always put salt on his watermelon. I've done it when the flavor was flat and it made it taste better and sweeter.
Good evening squad, watermelons my dog will eat it ONLY when Ice COLD, they will not eat it warm..1 dog loves PNB but the other runs away. your boys do not know what they are missing...Love your channels
We always planted silver queen and cut it off the cob and froze a huge amount! We have nine kids lol and after they left home I could give the packages for Christmas. Lol
I live in Minnesota.. we need rain 🌧 our forcast has storms for Saturday & Sunday... Our weather has been hot and dry. This last week, we did get lower temperatures!!😊 We have 70's for daytime Temps. 50's overnight. Perfect for me. I have Fibromylagia. The Temperatures and dew points make a huge difference. I send out prayers to everyone involved in the storms coming in.
Here in north central Ohio, we used to think peaches & cream and silver queen were the absolute best sweet corn… until we were told about montauk- it doesn’t even need butter it’s so sweet!! My husband has grown it several years now!
Oh how I love you 2! This is on EVERY table in restaurants in Cabo! My sister LOVES it...I don't even like it! You try it and I'm sure that one of you will want to buy a BIG bottle of it!
Dee Dee, Portland, Oregon. Re-watching the posting for the live today. I ran out of gas so many times in my adult older adult life that you couldn’t count the times. I may have used AAA once or twice probably once but my neighbors otherwise came to the rescue. There were two specific neighbors that I used to have coffee with actually they were probably 1520 years older than me and the husband would come out and help. And they didn’t like it, but they were good natured about it.
Our cousins in Texas had breeding steers but they didn’t send the steers, they only sent the “swimmers”. Their steers were so big, MooMan would look like a small goat.
Jason’s imitation of using these dang new fangled Gas Cans was so spot on 😂😂😂 Barn,Yard and Garage Sales are great places to find good ole plain ordinary Gas cans.😉
Tajin seasoning is great on any kind of fruit; not just on watermelon and corn. Corn on the cob is great with mayonnaise, butter, Tajin seasoning AND Parmesan cheese...YUM!!
Hope you are getting ready for the next Hurricane 🙏🌀🙏🌀. It has been a nice day here in NC. Love your fall 🍁🍁🍁 garden. Can't wait to see if it does well.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I guarantee the dogs would like sauteed chicken livers as a treat. I haven't met one yet that didn't. They are cheap and easy to cook up and are healthy for them.
My guess of Corn cob jelly is boiling the corn cob then once soft you smash to get more liquid. Then use the liquid as usual. Adding things like you would regular jelly. (sugar, gelatin etc)
Tajin (ta-heen) it is a spice mixture you sprinkle on anything you’d like. Good on buttered corn, slathered with sour cream and Parmesan cheese sprinkled generously. Then sprinkle Tajin!
Tajín is a Mexican seasoning blend of dried and ground chiles, lime, and salt that adds a sweet, salty, sour, and slightly spicy flavor to food:..................I LOVE THIS TAJIN......I FOUND IT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND JUST LOVE IT.....REALLY GOOD ON FISH ALSO........IT IS IN PUBLIX IN THE INTERNATIONAL FOODS, LIKE MEXICAN, ON THE VERY TOP SHELF.........
Tajin is also delicious on sliced cucumbers, mango, jicama and pineapple. Try it on corn on the cob with mayonnaise and parmessan cheese sprinkled with tajin. It's called Mexican street corn.
We always put a bit of salt on our cantaloupe or a lovely scoop of French vanilla ice cream but no salt on watermelon for me! I have heard that salt makes a sweet thing even taste sweeter?👍
Last fall I came across a recipe on the internet for corn cob jelly. I just had to make some to see what it tasted like. To me it kind of tasted like honey and it was super easy to make.
It’s been crazy here. Hubby had to surgeries in the last month. He did well but it’s kinda like having a newborn. I keep getting up to check on him. Hopefully no more surgeries for a while. Now it’s time to catch up on CogHill & sleep

Tajin is a seasoning mix popular in South America. It is sold in most grocery stores here in the USA. I like it on eggs and in tomato-based sauces.
