    what a cool project. if 3d printers were available when I was a kid, I could see how far I could have gone with modeling and design while I was still very young. my kids will definitely be making their own toys!

    Thinking, designing, and then printing things that actually works fine is one of the best sensation for me. Last year I did that with a full 3D printed replica of the 6th generation Bronco, almost 300 parts. A lot of work but what an incredible sensation when I finished the model. Thank you for this video!

    The 0.2 mm emboss was nice to see, since for my 3D printing class we had to emboss our initials in the print for a grade, and some of the best locations were on the side were it would have overhang. 0.2 was the best for the letters in my name not to mess up.

    I am surprised you did not include a flexible core in the design. I am no engineer but I would think a different material for the core would have allowed more stress in the body of the slingshot.

  • @captain_loeffel
    @captain_loeffel Рік тому +2

    Nice one, just here in Germany a slingshot isn't allowed to be owned without weapon license. Don't ask why. Even a normal kitchen knife is only allowed to be transported, when it isn't easily accessible (so not only lying in your bag without something around it you need to remove in a longer process) and its blade is longer then 12cm. So the old Leatherman Tool is considered a weapon too. Many things ended up in this list already and a slingshot is one of them.
