Not every move and program is done for corruption, that is just lack of critical thinking. This move is a good move, at least it will create job opportunities in Richard Bay.
Its about cost my friend, Government is failing us in so many areas due to insufficient funding, not to mention too much about the inefficient departments who are unable to spend their budgets, not a good idea, we are not at war and do not need to make military alterations at huge costs.
Just another opportunity to LOOT MONEY! Durban and Richardsbay already have basic Naval Base facilities for SA Naval ships. Maintain and/upgrade them for fat less than you would spend on a complete new Naval Base.
