Nice overview. The Allegheny was a dream come true when it came out. I could not believe the jump forward in detail compared to the endless re-runs of their outdated Big Boy model.
Outdated is immature expression. The word is older version .Things evolve.Do not insult those or things that came before because you would not have what we have now if it were not for the evolvement of the older things .Seen some say wood cabinets are outdated and I THOUGHT TO MYSELF .WHAT A MORON .iT IS WOOD AND STYLES LIKE FADS CHANGE . Besides if you think new is always better you are a moron.
For those interested, in 2003 Rivarossi went into receivership, in 2004 was purchased by Hornby. They still have locomotives for sale under the Rivarossi brand name - specifically two and three truck Heisler locos, and UP's Big Boy 4014.
Lots of these locomotives were available in different versions well before the date given for the versions shown. Sometimes a decade or two earlier. I was hoping for a more definitive date of the first tooling for each locomotive type. I was especially hoping to find when the first Rivarossi Big Boy was made. My feeling was about 1967.
The years mentioned are the years the versions that I show (from my collection) were introduced. A first version of the BigBoy was introduced in 1967/1968 according to a book by Claudia Molfa on RivaRossi. And you can take a look at the RivaRossi Memory website I mention in the video and the description
If i combine the 4-6-2 and the 0-8-0 i basically get a p5g class, which no one makes... well i already have the 0-8-0. If i can get that heavy pacific, or at least the smokebox door, i can make the thing. And the overall front end of the non wheel based areas

The 0-4-0 is an Italian Loco
Of course it is; but the CRR of NJ version was made for the American market.
I have the B&O 2-10-2 and the C&O 2-6-6-6
