This show never fails to remind me of how horrible early 2000's hairstyles were
sister gwennie well they weren’t as bad in the 2000 when absolutely every boy had the same haircut lol
Ada is the real one, getting physical trying to keep them there 😂
I feel so bad for her, she is gonna get in troube because some 8 year olds cant act like 16 and 17 year olds.
I feel so bad for her having to run after these teenagera who act lik children.
Imagine being the cameraman and having to go everywhere these kids go and whatever they do.
Ada DID NOT deserve to get in trouble whatsoever. She did nothing wrong and shouldn't be responsible for the other idiots' bad behavior.
Completely agree. She even tried getting the back into school. She didn't stand there motionless.
ada is like really begging them not to leave... poor thing
She should never be made responsible for them. Her parents should be responsible
i'm from singapore and i'm shook, these 2 kids were lucky enough to attend the TOP sixth form school/ college in singapore.
@@chloe-ug2du the kids from Australia weren't really lucky. They don't speak Malay and couldn't understand the teachers so it was kind of pointless imo
@@49hunterwalk People from Singapore speak English , Chinese and Cantonese/Mandarin , not Malay . That is spoken in Malaysia .
people in the US : *names kid Sydney*
people in Aus : *names kid Memphis*
It's not ada's responsibility she shouldn't have to babysit those two
Ada’s so pretty and sweet🥺I feel so bad for her having to look after those two
They need to quit turning the comments off for certain episodes. The comments are the reason I watch these things!!😭
While they're at it they need to quit censoring everything and deleting comments.
Ridiculous that private American companies think they can go around our core documentation.
World’s strictest parents
“Hope they’re not strict”
I thought there’s going to canning and stuff but there wasn’t any of it or other punishments.
Zane: “I’ll look ridiculous with that hair cut”. Think that ship has already sailed ....
Annie Heritage ye xd but in reality its not that bad with his type of hair
Awe god the family gave them Care Bears, that’s so frickin sweet
this family is like the nicest in the whole series, they don't force them to go to school when it won't be productive, and they're very straightforward, not doing power games, and and AND they seem to really understand the concept of: "these young people are here and probably really want to see some fun"
There nice but not the nicest check out the one with the mom in the wheelchair there hella nice
If that was my mom, aiyoooooooo they gonna get the broomstick ah I tell you.
@ lmao you call not having sleepovers bad? Try getting caned for things as small as talking back like most Singaporean kids
Does anyone else wonder how they get the footage of them partying.. are they like “hey can we join the party to see how bad u are” Lmao
fr memphis was with 2 guys that were butt naked running down the street. not my definition of fun, but ok.
PoptartInTheWoods It’s actually not staged. Some moments they may make things look worse but from people who have been on the show they say it’s pretty much all real
That’s usually groups of teens thinking they are pretty bad and cool. And using all kinds of shyt.
Poor Ada. She was so patient and persistent. Not at all her fault she couldn't stop those jerks!
I'm patient, but push me too far, and you get the dark side of the moon.
this is one of the strictest but calm parents i hv ever seen in singapore
@LEE SZE HUI JESSICA 4D the thing should be if the kids are not cut out for regular school past yr 9 or 10 send them somewhere to fulfill something with interests in mind.
SG also should send them to tuition CCAs and other programs until they are dead by the next day
SHE WAS USING THE WRONG HAND FOR THE PLEDGE PLS IM HYPERVENTILATING 😭😭😭
“I look ridiculous”
....... boy really only Goku can pull off that hair
I wonder where these teenagers are now 10 years later, i hope they have matured.
this is one of the only episodes where i 100% side with the parents
I agree with you @@Venus.Ywe can be more respectful and being responsible for our actions and behaviour
They way they were disrespecting everyone and bothering them is so infuriating. Memphis looks like the dollar version of Trisha paytas and Zane looks like Ellen degeneress.
I felt sorry for Ada when she had to chase The Teens throughout the school. She should not have any responsibility for them. If they want to mess about, it is their business and it is them for will have to face the consequences.
@Mary Oden There was another ep whereby one of the Strict Parents' daughters got scolded because of something that The Teens did. It was unfair to Ada.
@@alexkennedy1820 I remember thst one.
Her dad made her cry, she was so pretty though.
I think it was an Indian family.
@@camvin575 do you remember the episode by any chance?
EDIT: nvm just saw you said indian family
I can't believe that Ada would be punished after she tried so hard to make them stay! She had to man handle them.
I lost it when Mephis sang ‘Old Macdonald’ in front of pedestrians
Show name- “Worlds Strictest Parents”
Teens- “I hope they aren’t strict.”
Ok Then...
@@GmingTai they are all stricter than their regular patents. That's the point of the show after all! 😹
Sometimes I wish there was an episode where it shows us what they are up to now and if they maintained their Good Behaviour.
Memphis and her “fish lips” pic before she left Australia sums her up
Ada having to cancel her plans with her friends just cos the Aussie teens were being idiots was the literal definition of unfair
The lads actual dad was giving me serious Billy Rae Cyrus vibes in how he was dressed at the beginning
Poor Ada. 😔
No wonder she’s acting out.. they named her Memphis
Where Kimmie from Hell’s kitchen if from. Aka Kimmie is from the South
Poor Ada, I hope she didn’t get in trouble!
i really respect ada for being so responsible at her age... seeing her really inspiring..
Most chinese people with really strict parents are like that, everyone at my school acted that way, they would not dare to think of doing something that broke the rules, it was pretty annoying though bc they were so sheltered
@@alireardon6664 70% of Singaporeans are chinese, both the ones with roots in SG since the 60’s and fresh off the boat ones who get citizenship due to economic ties lol. Ethnically and culturally, this family is Chinese darling, especially towards their way of life at home
The thing I've noticed with this family opposed to others, they try to have fun with them and want to do fun bonding things with them. They also are way less angry with the teens
Zane has naturally curly hair! Its impossible to get it to lay straight and flat! Those kids could have gotten Ada kicked out of school as well! They also could've gone to jail for what they did! Singapore is really strict about teen smoking and skipping school! The only way they got away with it is because they clearly are from another country!
Jenn Worthington why do you keep on doing exclamation marks? You’re making it seem positive
Minatozaki Sana no, she didn’t. She was saying that if the two teens still stayed in that school, she would’ve gotten kicked out
Excuses, excuses exclamation marks are used for showing strong emotion. That can be mad, sad, or happy.. not just happy.
Poor daughters. They were so sweet and intelligent. Ada looked like she was going to cry when they ditched school.
doesnt want to look ridiculous lmao has he seen his own hair
Zain's hair cut he had before he got there. It reminds me of Bart Simpson.
Sadly, it is very difficult to start teaching these life skills and character building when kids reach their teens. The Singapore teens started learning at birth by the modeling of their parents.
Growing up, our family life was similar to this lovely family in
Singalong.
We were the norm, not the exception.
If we don’t return to core values and the help of the Lord, we shall fall into the dustbin of history.
The lady actually handled that situation really well by saying she wanted to take time to calm down thats really mature
This Singaporean girl deserves appreciation for stopping these two teens from leaving school and snatching her cigarette
2:44 **everyone runs out half naked**
cameraman - ayy mind if I join y'all
His hair looks so much better. He’s also kind of socially awkward.
caseypromise yeah I noticed that to, he said his name like 4 times when he introduced himself
It was so strange to hear him complaining about how "ridiculous" he looked when he actually looked 100% better..
Parents take note, discipline starts from the start when children take their first step
Anyone else feel like this show should be called World's Most Ruthlus Teens or something. Cause some of the parents aren't even that strict, theyre just good parents
the mom isn't even that strict wth
But the mom is vary troglodyte to ada putting her in charge of the kids and when she said that she was taking them out of school she didn’t even mention how difficult and frustrating it was for ada
They were so lucky to be able to study there ( ′~‵)
They got the oppurtunity to study at one of the best schools and didn't take it. Even people who study very hard here in Singapore don't get the chance to study there.
This Singapore Parents are most likely to be one of the best Parents ever. From all the shows.
They should appreciate the fact that they could go to raffles junior college
Yeah, if I had the opportunity to go to the American or Canadian equivalent of it I would take it and run, they should have been grateful that they got to go. They chose to waste it instead which sucks.
Love the full episodes! Really hope we can see the Barbados one 😂
@@mrbrh2802 you are not in the UK you are in Barbados
I'm seventeen I can smoke I can drink
Those things and more
Memphis:🙂
The mum: you are going to school!
Memphis:🙁
When they said Singapore, I said "they are going to jail now" 😂🤣
Prison in Singapore is very hard. Those who go to prison in Singapore usually get caned very very hard on their bare buttocks.
I would not have survived singapore education personally.Just thankful my parents migrated out when they did in the early seventies and we kids were born in australia.can you imagine post your senior year or around the time you graduate no schoolies weeks or leavers weeks then off to the big world.oh the horror.
This episode aired in 2009, when both Zaine and Memphis were 17 years old. Now (2024) they are 32 years old. I hope so much that they're doing well.
One thing in common with most of these episodes, the parents of the teens always say “I think it started when we separated”
I have seen children being on their worst when parents separate or move from place to place
Still waiting on bar👏ba👏dos👏
Also doesn't Zane look like Pippin from lord of the rings 😹
I feel sorry for Ada
i feel bad for ada like shes going to get in trouble but she was literally trying to drag them off the bus, she def tried her hardest
Zane: April fools!
Mom: what?
Zane: April Fools!
Mom: why?
Can I just ask
WHAT THE HELL IS ON HIS HEAD
Is it just me or does it seem like the American parents end up having bigger impacts on the kids?
The thing is that, the teens who go to america are more ill behaved and rebellious. But these 2 did not even smoke ( except memphis in 1 occasion) and the only thing they were rebeling was school. Hence it doesn't feel like they changed alot
Worlds strictest parents
"I hope their not Strict."
BOY IF YOU DONT-
Ada did not deserve to get in trouble for what they did, I feel really bad for her they did it of their own accord
This family embodies the work hard play hard mentality and It’s amazing!
anyone here after yeolo? no? just me? ok
Same, but I hope he watches the full episode, the full episode is good
I feel so bad for these parents. Yeah they’re strict, but they just want respect and they deserve that, especially from people who are staying in their home. They really are saints to put up with all the crap 😅
Ikr, if those were my parents they wouldn’t even put up with that crap, three hours in and they’d already be getting the belt/cane
Has anyone realised none of the people have phones on this show
Josefa Tchamna that’s a lie because so many of those episodes have teenagers use their phone
5:25 That piano music is so peaceful and relaxing! OMG!
Them waking up at 6: It's so early in the morning
Me who lives in Singapore: WHAT THEY GET TO WAKE UP AT 6?? THAT'S AN EXTRA HOUR OF SLEEP FOR ME!!
YAAAAASSSS! Please keep the full Aussie episodes coming.
Mikki Michelle I agree I am from Australia and I love it when the Australian episodes are out
Anyone else think the guy looks like Ellen degeneers with long hair
This is literally gold value insight for parents that don't watch who their kids make friends with... think about that. These two kids are really beautiful smart and full of potential but they were just wasting it away.
Prayers for Ada 🙏 she tried her best to look after them when they're not even her responsibility
Memphis ' face has 6 different colors literally.no one else commented about her?
You've got to keep in mind that this was filmed ages ago and some teenagers' styles were very weird back then
It's near the end of 2019 and I can still honestly say that people are still like this.
@@z8eee Teenagers styles are "weird" in every generation but that's because they're coming into their own and playing around with styles and how to dress themselves. This is especially true in more alternative styles which are naturally more experimental.
I really almost cried when what ada had to do....
I really enjoyed watching this family. Such nice, genuine people.
HAHA I bet Zaine is embarrassed now for his behaviour and that hideous hair do 😂 this has to be many years ago
Yea this was quite long ago. Singaporean people do not have this much of study sense, nerdy or chinesey behaviour anymore
Teens *running away and drinking*
camera man: aight lets party
Ada was so sweet, smart and responsible. She had the patience of an angel, I felt so so bad for her when she had to chase those two lunatics about, and she shouldn’t have got in trouble because of them. It was so unfair
I have been watching all these episodes for the past few mos. and the parent's are simply "enablers."
Just watch how they get the slightest correct attention and they respond.
They don't at home given that the parent's are lazier.
Right. I think the "strict" parents are usually just better and more attentive parents.
is it just me or are none of the 'strictest parents' actually that strict?
These ones certainly aren't strict compared to most in Singapore. Most parents use caning to punish bad behaviour there.
Awww when he said to his Mum at the end "I love you" her smile said it all.
Made me so emotional when he said to his mum he loved her. ❤️😭
I really like the Ireland episode of the world's strictest parents. 👍😁
I'm so glad they uploaded this!!!
I feel so sorry for ada
She had to deal with their crap at school
This show never fails to remind me of how horrible and rebellious teens used to be in the early 2000's
It seems that teens today are back to behaving the same way as these teens did.🤨🤔
Feel so bad for Ada having to chase these 2 throughout the school and having to take some responsibility for their behaviour
I know. I said the same thing. It was very unfair to expect her to try and stop them like that.
YEE
Life is about taking responsibility. This wasn’t about Ada taking responsibility, it was about the other 2 taking responsibility for themselves but they didn’t so it fell to Ada. That’s what the 2 teens didn’t understand because of their immature, selfish, thoughtless way of viewing the world.
Aye she probably wanted to skip school with them so used it as an excuse😂
The singapore family are so nice and want the best for them but the kids are jusr mad
