I've been distilling water for years. I have a small unit similar to yours but a different brand. Anyway...ours is running almost 24/7 for six years now and yes there is a LOT of yucky stuff that gets left behind. Ugh! So glad I'm not drinking that! Our health has been better. We've tried talking our children into doing it but for whatever reason they have declined 😕. Sad 😢 thank you for sharing this and for showing others what may be lurking in their water. ❤

@@JohnCalebWarren Exactly. Chemicals from water treatment do not filter out. 🤮

That's horrible, after filtration. Here in San Jose CA the tap water is nasty, it feels like drinking swimming pool water mixed with mold, I asked the water company, of course it's "great quality water". We stopped drinking it years ago and use reverse osmosis filtered water, I asked the guy and he says that it removes everything including fluorine, the guy seems honest so I hope it's true. I don't trust those under-sink filtration systems.
An other thing not related at all, when I go for groceries and I forget my bag, like everybody, I have to pay for a plastic bag "to save the planet" but EVERYTHING they sell in the store is wrapped in the same plastic, even cucumbers, they really think that we are stupid, I wonder where my 15 cents are going...We are surrounded by crooks.

Fluorine removal from water is incredibly difficult due to its bonding.

I wonder how much mineral sediments you would get again if you ran that "distilled" water back through another time to see how effective your distiller really is.

Try cold water to eliminate the water heater as a possible contributor.

    Well water? Or city water?

Oh dear, you need to clean that thing after every use! Just use a stainless pad and gently swirl it out, you're just getting water that is not that pure.
I've had that same distiller for years now, have a video on my channel about it.
And you are right about our nasty water, but, your water will taste better and be cleaner if you keep that thing clean.

@@SomebodysGrandmother I guess you dont know what happens to cells when they come into contact with a hypotonic solution. Basically destroys them on contact. Sure your body will quickly bring that solution into isotonic but not after incurring some injury, how much who knows but some injury guaranteed.
