Hey Elliot, I was one of those high school students that was lucky enough to receive a pair from Chris. It was a surreal experience and truly a moment to remember. There was a whole camera crew set up and I’m sure they’re gonna release the footage of our reaction unboxing them. I was the one with the black shirt and red writing. I’m not in the photos but hopefully I’ll be in the video. After we were done with the photoshoot Chris was generous enough to wait for us outside and sign some of our shoes. I recorded the moment he signed the shoes and was rocking them pretty often, but after hearing of his passing I stopped wearing them out of respect for him and bought a display case for them. Can’t wait to grab my hands on another pair. LONG LIVE SPANTO!!💙💙💙

I hope a realy i get these, they do let me think about the why so sad. For me it is also the color, they have the color of my dads eyes who past a year ago. Before the unfortunate event. They were trending like all SB collabs and probably would have settled around where the Jarritos is. I think once the official release happens these will hover around high 5s, into high 6. I should be hitting the in store raffle they’re having also to try to cop.

I remember talking about these shoes to shoe “enthusiasts” and having them say all kinds of things like “they are ugly”, “they are one of the worst colorways of the year”,etc and now they are DYING for them. So messed up cause I wanted these so bad since day one and now thats just impossible.

My favorite SB of 2023 is by far the run the jewels highs and then the lows. Then id go with the AJ 4 SBs and the Crenshaws, these are dope but just to much for a dodger colorway shoe, im an A's and Giants fan

i tried to get a pair today when they dropped on the born and raised website, they sold out of my size before the drop happened, i decided to play it safe and size up 1 instead of down. the site keep crashing then they had u do these dumb robot drw a box around the picture like 5 times then it gave this load window where it said i had 42 mins before i could check out and then not even a min later it said it sold out of the size i tried to buy...how ? if i already have it in cart pretty much , every size sold out in less then 10 mins . i figure i could grab anysize and resale it and buy my size on stock but nope by the time i came up with that idea they only had a 4.5 left and it sold out before i could hit add to cart.. im Fing PISSSEDDD!! i hope they do another drop on another site or app because i refuse to pay $800. damn reseller pricks

the Jarritos are still my favorite Nike SB dunk over the Born & Raise and other Nike SB dunks. Just slighty better over the Born & Raise are the Jarritos. So Clean & beautiful colorway plus you can tear them to reveal another beautiful colorway of these sneaker. The beige, white, orange & green colorway of the Jarritos are fantastic and unbeatable. Especially it's design on the sneaker. The Born & Raise has so many details that makes this sneaker one of the favorite of many sneakerheads. But the problem is the colorway blue & white of the Born & Raise has similarity to other Nike SB dunks. The sneaker is just so hype & overrated.😊❤

Another sick pair of shoes with a great person behind them being ruined by shitty people and greedy stores because of something super terrible and unfortunate happening to the creator. This is why I only own like 1 pair of dunks out of 60+ pairs of shoes.
