    Hello. I have 2 questions: What material is the cloth that you are soldering upon? Also: What solution is on the brush for the final cleaning of your chains? Thank you.

    • @WeMakeJewellery
      @WeMakeJewellery  Рік тому +1

      First answer: it’s a fireproof cotton, which is used for placing objects on it while soldering in a required position.
      Second answer: it’s a metal cleaning shampoo

    What kind of snips are used in the videos to cut your silver sheets? I feel so dumb that I bought ingot molds seeing you make your own. 😁 awesome work great video. My first piece of jewelry will be a Cuban link chain that I attempt.

      @Needmore Silver: Yes, I've bought tools in the beginning of learning to be a silversmith only to find out from other makers how easy it is to make and customize many hand tools and such. Now, a small fortune later, I can make a lot of my best tools with low/no cost. Makers like this channel who share their skills really help us all a great deal. Have lots of fun making your Cuban chain!

    Про изложницу никто не слышал, не? Может быть, с ней проще будет? Пайка - дело опасное. Особенно здесь. Было просто титанический шанс расплавить припой на соседнем звене. Поражён тому, что этого не произошло. Не показали конечную протяжку цепи. Без неё изделие по виду ничем не отличалось бы от топора. А так придраться не к чему))))
