Born in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal fourpiece, influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.
The band’s lineup include Fernanda Lira (vocals & bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), both ex-members of Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitars) who also plays in Cobra Spell and played formerly in the heavy metal band Burning Witches, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitars), ex-member of Hagbard. - Розваги

I feel like Luana is just flexin' on us now... supremely confident, total control, perfect posture. She could at least make it LOOK hard here and there to make us mere mortals feel better.
No, Luana is one of those drummers which shows nothing. No emotions. Not even a grin on face. Look up Docent from Vader, same thing. Machine. Pure. Thats why i love them.

I could watch Luana drum all day. She's just so casual and relaxed, even when going ballistic. She has some crazy skills!
there's a lot of great drumming in this, love the gravity beat, love the triplet feel thrown in on the dbl bass drum runs. There's a few things that remind me of very famous metal drummers going on here, first off the rhythmic precision is spot on, her stick heights are massive, and she seems completely at rest while playing with loads of energy

When I said she has the potential to become one of the best metal drummers in the years to come I meant it.
She might not be there yet, but the way she handled the technical aspect and economics here surprised me.
She's smart + intelligent and it shows.
@Arthur Andrew jeez simp, you're really thirsty. She's a competent drummer. But in a genre where Ken Bedene, Darren Cesca, Max Kolesne, George Kollias, Spencer Prewett, darkside, Simon, Kevin Talley, trey Williams, and so many others exist it takes a lot more to be "great"
@@lordhades9455 Seen them all, and those blast beats are still quite exceptional. No, she doesn't win the formula 1 pedaling price yet, but there is more to drumming then that. Drummers who only go fast on double kick are starting to annoy me, many times it is foremost a cover-up that the music has a fundamental flaw.
Drummers are in service of a band. Drummers are not the troubleshooters of essentially lacking skills or creativity of the other band members. In this band, all ladies are exceptionally skilled. And it renders death metal that you can actually listen to, instead of ambient noise.

I'm not a fan of blast beats but it's a pleasure to watch this girl play them so well, she looks so relaxed all the time. Every time she plays blast beats I can't stop looking at her hands, specially the one that hits the snaredrum. Great technique.

the special thing about her is how secure and edged the fill ins come. the arms are really going all the way back and hit hard by using the physics of the stick to her advantage, but that instinctively
