  • This is how I replaced my RV gas lines, I have posted links below on what I used to do this project. Hope it is helpful, and thanks for watching. *In this video I used pipe tape on the Flare fittings. As noted in the comments you do not use pipe tape on flare fittings. I have removed the pipe tape.*

I appreciate you making this video! I was also impressed with how humbly you take criticism! I know it's tough sometimes!! Well done!

Nicely done sir, appreciate the video. You motivated me to run a new lp line to the back of my trailer for a Olympian heater. Watching this video gave me good pointers and confidence.
    Thank you!

Thanks for the comment. One thing I did in the video that you can omit is I added pipe tape to the threads. You don't need pipe tape on flare fittings.

You're welcome, just one thing I did in the video that you can omit is the flare fittings do not need the teflon tape.

And turn those channel locks around. You pull in the direction of the jaw opening. Not away.

No pipe tape on flare fittings. Only use pipe tape on pipe (NPT) fittings

I appreciate the comment, I did not know this and have been using it on other similar applications. I will remove it and have to update this. Thank you.

Do you need to get it certified by a gas fitter? or are there no regulations?

I am not aware of any regulations that require it to be certified by a gas fitter.

Couldn't afford a few bucks to buy some line wrenches?

I agree with you 100%, laziness got the best of me. I should have gotten the proper wrench.
