Tim's maybe the finest at demoing anything on YT! I love that he does his demos in the clean mode. Seems most guys go for the overdrive right out the gate. Tims way we actually hear the guitar/pickups. Not to mention he's one fine player!
Sounds absolutely amazing on all pickup positions. Great detail, articulation and definition on those pickups. Outstanding and beautiful playing technique! PS: What a gorgeous curly/flamed maple neck.
Fantastic demo. There is not a great amount of people demonstrating the clean sounds so much and bring in distortion on most of the videos. As i am a player who use only clean sound, i appreciate this demo
Wow such a great sounding guitar and pick up are amazing sounding and you my friend such a wonderful guitar player to listen to do you have any CDs out that I can purchase
I got lollar blonde on my strat, lollar pickup is heaven for guitar players, vintage warm and the edgy quality but not sharp for ears. The demo is absolutely fabulous, I kind of wanna try Charlie Christian if I have a tele in the future.
sounds great. wonderful playing too. I love the 7 way strat wiring but the extra sounds are never that useable. but on this guitar all positions sound great!
Not understanding why there's one thumbs down as Tim is a very accomplished guitar player. Beautiful sound from your Tele there Tim. I have just finished building a Tele style guitar and want to give it a more Jazz feel without it sounding too dark and muffled. These pickups sound lovely.
Dear Tim!Thanks for the help so far, now we will get the pickup set for a Telecaster standard USA guitar, 2008.I would like to ask if you need to replace this capacitor
tim thats a great sound and as i asked you if you played with a pick you do!! i am familiar with those pickups------kessel used those exclusively, i go back a long way. although i dont do fender or solid bodies i am really about great sound....... i do archtops, dangelico's etc and they must have a voice anyway your guitar is a cut above the rest of the fenders!!the on,ly other solid body i really like is les pauls personal guitar!! real nice. thanks for the demo.
Thanks Tim. Your playing makes for super enjoyable listening. Beautiful and soulful, even just dinkin' around. Thinking about installing these new Lollars on my Nash Tele to fatten things up a bit. That said I'm aiming for a truer Nashville sound and wonder if you noticed these pickups loose any twang from the Tele Lollar?
A Man after my own offing heart! This is my dream Tele except I was planning on putting a Joe Barden Danny Gatton in the bridge and contemplating installing a B-Bender just for fun and also pretty much checking every box possible for maximum pimpage, but I don't like the idea of sawing into my Broadcaster. I've been considering getting a Nash to do that but I've also heard that Deusenburg makes a less intrusive bender that mounts to the bridge and is actuated by the palm so that might be the answer. Mr. Lerch if you read this could you please help me with any info on you're pickguard in terms of if its handmade/custom/available online, wiring schematics, and or who you had do the work. I live in the middle of no where so I'm either going to do it myself or send it to someone better. I'm also trying to put 3 Charlie Christians in a 58' reissue Les Paul Special double cut. Also I'd like to know what strings you're using. I'm using the new D'adarrio NYXL 13-56 strung up to pitch because I'm use to that on my acoustics for bluegrass and I like to play a lot of slide, but I believe they're stainless steel and they seem a little too stiff and not in a good way. Cheers and thanks for the content!
Hey. Nice playing and great laid back demos. I have a question about those CC pickups. I realise that rhythm playing as in e.g. Reggae is far from your cup of tea. But I wonder if these particular PUs are closer to a Les Paul neck Humbucker in a Telecaster? Maybe a silly question since I read P90s comparisons. The I love the Telecaster form, but I have never heard a neck PU that really sounds like a warm Paf. (What I’m want for an versatile Telecaster). NB. There’s a new series from Fender now with a SH Telecaster (“Yosemite” Humbucker apparently) Maybe you’ll have a go 😊 Thanks again.
Great sounding..Like ALL of your tele's..What do you do with them when you get a new one? Either your music room must be bursting at the seams, or do you sell off the one's no longer at the top of the playing list? Any time you want to get one a good new home, please let me know..You are always a pleasure to watch and listen to..Shally
Hi Tim! Fantastic playing and a godly tone on that amazing Telecaster w/the CCs pickups! I have a couple of questions for you. Any reason why you have the CChristians mounted on wood vs pickguard? What type of wood is the guitar body made of? THANK YOU!!!! Cheers from Italy!
Hi Tim, thanks for the demo! Is the Lollar BS would do the job for the twang stuff (Country)? Or it will be better with a classic Lollar tele bridge, cause I really like the sound I'm hearing. Thank you in advance!
Good demo, how's the bridge do cutting through a mix......seems like the mids are pretty scooped which I've found requires more sound pressure to stay relevant in the mix when it's all stage volume. How'd you have the amp set?
I use 250k pots but they sound great with 500k as well, depends on how bright you like your sound. Slightly complicated if you have standard tele pickup in the bridge.

These pickups sound incredible.
You made your tele into the coolest strat around! 😃
Sounds absolutely amazing on all pickup positions. Great detail, articulation and definition on those pickups. Outstanding and beautiful playing technique! PS: What a gorgeous curly/flamed maple neck.
Lovely playing, very deliberate musical and sensitive. I love the air in your time feel.
Wonderful playing... lovin’ all those blues with jazzy inflections.
Sounds so smooth with a lots of sustain without breaking up the amp. Damn! Sounds amazing!
These fantastic Pickups fits perfect together with this really great Guitar player.
The amp is also great so the result speaks for itself.
I rarely watch guitar videos anymore since quitting...but I still love hearing and watching you play.
Thank you.
q... quitting???
Yes the right way to demo a guitar CLEAN well done
Clean sound. This demo has me interested in these pickups.
Beautiful playing, Tim, and beautiful guitar.
Fantastic demo. There is not a great amount of people demonstrating the clean sounds so much and bring in distortion on most of the videos. As i am a player who use only clean sound, i appreciate this demo
Man, these sound great!
Beautiful sounding! Congrats!
Tim-This is a fantastic clip. The sound is really great and your laying is, as usual, impeccable
Hermoso sonido!
"...your laying is, as usual, impeccable"
Hey, this is not that kind of video.
Great tones from the Lollar pick-ups. And great playing!!
Great DEMO Tim.
Can listen to you play all day.
Awesome licks and interesting guitar. I agree that the three together tone is fabulous, easy to get lost in that position. Great demo as always.
Sounds gorgeous.
Wow, the 3 pickups together sound really nice!
came for the pickup demo, stayed for the playing.
This is not a fair demo, you sound good no matter what pickups you use. Great job man!
You guys have so much good talent up your way. I rem back in the 60's I couldn't wait to see any band from Seattle Tacoma down here in Oregon.
& Lollar is a darn genius! Mad scientist.
WOW that is a beautiful tone!
Damn Tim, you are sounding better than ever!
Thank you for playing clean. Great demo.
Beautiful Tim
Wow! Beautiful tones!
Wow! Beautiful tone.
Positions 2 and 4 are to die for!
Good Lord. All usable sounds.
Haven't had GAS for a long time.. until I see this. Beautiful guitar and playing!
amazing tone and great playing! :)
nice work, loving those Lollars
sounds superb! it gives a bit of stratocaster tone.
tween those pickups and that neck woodgrain....very nice.
thanks for posting
great demo Tim, thanks.
Dear lord this sounds good
That is a beautiful tone
Man you are so talented!
Wow, you're a great player! Thanks for the review.
inbetween positions ......to die for !
Amazing tones. My next guitar is tele style with a Lollar CC neck and a Dave Stephens Broadcaster bridge.
Wow such a great sounding guitar and pick up are amazing sounding and you my friend such a wonderful guitar player to listen to do you have any CDs out that I can purchase

Sounds great
Damn Tim's a great guitarist!
You are a great guitar player!
Got me. This is what I was searching for. I'm gonna put the middle one in my new Tele.....
Wow! Thanks!
Really dig this!
sounds great. wonderful playing too. I love the 7 way strat wiring but the extra sounds are never that useable. but on this guitar all positions sound great!
"Humdebugger!" ROFLMAO Great demo, wonderful pickups.
Yeah Tim !
Love the tones and playing you get Tim. Nicely done sir.
Not understanding why there's one thumbs down as Tim is a very accomplished guitar player. Beautiful sound from your Tele there Tim. I have just finished building a Tele style guitar and want to give it a more Jazz feel without it sounding too dark and muffled. These pickups sound lovely.
Dear Tim!Thanks for the help so far, now we will get the pickup set for a Telecaster standard USA guitar, 2008.I would like to ask if you need to replace this capacitor
i didnt, try it with whats in there and see if you like it. east enough to try different values if you feel like you need to
thank you 🙏
The middle and neck have a great sound ,
Love it. Thanks!!!!
wow ! Tim ! Awsome
Beautiful tone!!! I wonder if it would be a good idea to put that Lollar CC pickups on my Fender Jaguar.
Suena estupendo y gran ejecución.
tim thats a great sound and as i asked you if you played with a pick you do!! i am familiar with those pickups------kessel used those exclusively, i go back a long way. although i dont do fender or solid bodies i am really about great sound....... i do archtops, dangelico's etc and they must have a voice anyway your guitar is a cut above the rest of the fenders!!the on,ly other solid body i really like is les pauls personal guitar!! real nice. thanks for the demo.
This is my idea of the perfect guitar
They all sound great to me....!
Stunning ! what's the wiring diagram for these combination ?
Pretty sure you can find a wiring diagram on Seymour Duncan’s website. Five way switch like a strat and a pull pot to add in two more sounds
@@TimLerchGuitar I found it, thank you very much
awesome
Thanks Tim. Your playing makes for super enjoyable listening. Beautiful and soulful, even just dinkin' around. Thinking about installing these new Lollars on my Nash Tele to fatten things up a bit. That said I'm aiming for a truer Nashville sound and wonder if you noticed these pickups loose any twang from the Tele Lollar?
these don't twang in the classic sense. they tend to be clear and open but rounded on top.
Go Tele it on the mountain, Tim Lerch, “YOU RANG?” Love to hear you and Ron Eschete together, ;~}
Can I buy THAT guitar??? ;-) Sounds GREAT!!!

Your best sounding guitar I reckon.
Considered them first as a PU for jazz boxes but damn they have a great blues tone.
Great sounding..Like ALL of your tele's..What do you do with them when you get a new one? Either your music room must be bursting at the seams, or do you sell off the one's no longer at the top of the playing list?

I like mounting to the wood. I like the cleaner look and I swear it makes a difference in the sound (wink wink) ash body.
@@TimLerchGuitar Thank you, Tim! And last but not least.... the frets! Those seem big fat jumbo 6100 worked and rounded off. Am I wrong?
Great playing and great tone!
Can you tell me about the Tele you’re playing? Other than the pickups is it stock or???
Thank you for this great demo!
2001 fender custom shop nocaster the only difference from stock is I had medium frets put on it and Glendale compensated brass saddles
Thank you for the detail on your Tele. The Custom Shop built a great guitar!
amazing sound, is the princeton an old one?
That's funny. He just said screw it and put 2 on. Any interference issues? Sounds great though! 👍🏻
What is the hum debugger you mentioned? It would be a good to have accessory when the electrical ground is bad.

Thanks Tim, need to check this out
Nice
How did you come across that neck?
Fender Custom Shop Nocaster from 2001
And here I am wondering how the hell that thing is in perfect tune yet all the keys are turned exactly the same. This makes my OCD cream!
Sweet sounds and playing ! I liked those in-between positions . #2 & 4. Both is kinda humbucking ?
I want one
tim great sounds.... i like the wiring, pdf easy to find it?i hace a CC lollar to put in a neck position
All three pickup CC lollar neck?
The bridge and neck tone kinda sounds like a lap steel. Nice
Holy crap!! Tone nirvana...must have! What PR are using? RI, SF? Just SO sweet!
Oh, RI....just read prev comments.
Tim, your thoughts on the C.C. install - body mount vs pickguard mount
I prefer mounting into the wood, but it’s more troublesome because of the positioning required.
Hi Tim, thanks for the demo! Is the Lollar BS would do the job for the twang stuff (Country)? Or it will be better with a classic Lollar tele bridge, cause I really like the sound I'm hearing. Thank you in advance!
Hi Tim. What pots and cap did you use for this setup?
Good demo, how's the bridge do cutting through a mix......seems like the mids are pretty scooped which I've found requires more sound pressure to stay relevant in the mix when it's all stage volume. How'd you have the amp set?
Yes the bridge cuts through.
Great playing Tim! Does everyone knows if the bridge pickup is good with overdrive? It still defined as in clean tones?
would it be possible that you share with us the wiring diagram of your pickups configuration ? cheers from Mexico
then there's guitar players that play with feeling... (great sound and feel)
I was about to order these when I found this video. Do you recommend the 250 or 500k pots for these pickups? I plan to use for a tele baritone.
I use 250k pots but they sound great with 500k as well, depends on how bright you like your sound. Slightly complicated if you have standard tele pickup in the bridge.
great playing, was wondering how this pickups perform with overdrives? do they feedback alot like old pafs?
