Explain me pls. What is a reason to play on SSF if there is no difference. You can do literally the same things and play same way on trade. If you feel no need to trade, just don't do it. I always play on trade league but actually trade with other players like 5-10 times per league. Is it for some kind of challange or to prove something. I'm really curious
It's challenge mode. Playing in same league with trade people zooming with mageblood when you have 150 div playing "pretend ssf" would feel oxymoron imo. Trading "only" 5-10 times would mean I could easily buy mageblood and top tier uniques on first 2 weeks. Most games have difficulty selection, this is it for PoE.
This league start was kind of a perfect storm of misery for me. Starting SSF in a PoE, that is significantly nerfed for SSF, harder zones overall, and letting myself get baited by a Maxroll league-starter due to lack of time to prepare my own build. I think I'll be sitting this one out xD
i started ssf this league like usual and just felt like if i didnt have expedition on my 3rd atlas tree (1st and 2nd already have it) i was trolling, the second i got that thought i just quit and made a hc trade character, i dont want to farm for an entire day to maybe make 1 item in the morgue and have it be on the wrong fucking base
You forgot the option of crafting with the league mechanic. You can collect "alchemy shards" over many maps and then spend time organizing and sorting them into a single "alchemy orb" on a random base type.

If you're interested in competing, the ssf leaderboards are separate

I can't tell if this is aprils fools or not. Crafting does feel kind of dead even if you're not SSF, just playing "casual" softcore sucks
