I don’t consume much chocolate, and Tonny’s chocolate looks too big and bold for me, but knowing what is behind, I am totally standing with them. The faces of those unfortunate children’s make me cry.
I like that it's big and bold. You can share it and eat a little part yourself.
@@marikehazenberg Thank you for telling me what I can do, but the fact that "big and bold" isn't for me remains.... I like fine things. But I can buy them for the people who like big and bold chocolate without worrying whether they are ethical or not. Have a good day.
@@UkaLyn_L ''thankyou for telling me what i can do''
jesus christ go eff yourself karen
Can we all take a moment to realize that each Tony’s chocolonely chocolate bar is divided unevenly?
... I didn't connect until right now that that's an artistic parallel to the message, rather than just being unique and interesting and encouraging more sharing. Great observation, I'm glad I saw your comment
can we all take a moment and F*** this entire company? Bought my third chocolate today and won't buy it ever again. F***** 1£ chocolates got better PACKAGE that this nonsense. I would never believe that imma complain about PACKAGING of chocolate... but this toilet paper bs its beyond. You can't break the chocolate using the packaging, it just rips cos its made from cheapest paper you can imagine. All that for top shelf and 3£. GO F YOURSELVES.
To represent inequality within the cocoa farming industry. This company rocks
I'd never heard of Tony's Chocolonely until I visited Amsterdam last year. I got it because of the name (some of my friends also call me Tony); I thought the bars would be great gifts for them as souvenirs from the Netherlands. When I returned to my place, I opened a bar and was impressed by the quality of the chocolate and decided to check out the company's history. That sealed the deal.
I live in Switzerland nowadays and obviously, when I mention that the Dutch chocolate is just as good and in some cases better than the chocolate I get in some Swiss shops, a few eyes may roll. But beyond that silly stuff, I can eat the Dutch chocolate with no threat to my conscience. I plan to share the story more freely behind why I'm weaning myself off of chocolate which is not made slave-free. Hopefully others will see the importance and follow suit.
From one Tony to another: thank you for making a difference, Tony.
The exact same thing happened to me. Im going to share this vid. HAD NO IDEA
Me too, first i heard or see Tonys Chocolonely Chocolate was 5-6 Years ago i had some in my Mini Bar in a Hotel in Utrecht...Now in 2022 i bought my first here in Germany :D
Tony's Chocolonely is not only great chocolate but a great company who are passionate about what they believe in. If you want chocolate with a great story and great ethics, then look no further. Thank You Tony's Chocolonely.
best chocolate i’ve ever tasted, with a very important message that we shouldn’t sleep on
Hello Tony´s Chocolonely Team! I just recently discovered your Chocolate
when we(with my Husband) selected dark chocolates for a fun video
project here in UA-cam! I like your advocacy towards a fair trade,
"slave" free especially for kids in the harvest and overall production
of Cocoa for chocolate making and related stuff. I am such a big fan of
Chocolates but on the other hand I also know my social and ethical
responsibilities so I am very particular about the chocolates I buy and
eat! Cheers to the good goal for Humanity!
Damn! I never thought I'd feel guilty about eating chocolate, this is unacceptable slavery still exists and in the cocoa industry! I must of eaten a lot of chocolate in my 29 year life, and a lot of it must of come from slavery. This must stop! We are all guilty of unintentionally supplying and supporting slavery until the day we die!
I agree with you completely... I believe non of us are innocent. But we can all try and redeem ourselves by working to boycott companies that do treat people inhumanly, this doesn't mean we need to stop buying chocolate it just means we need to buy the right chocolate.
tried the caramel and sea salt bar. unbelievably delicious. Best chocolate I’ve ever had hands down
Bought my third chocolate today and won't buy it ever again. Every time the chocolate looks like I kept it inside my ar**hole for a day and then spewed out - just two rows in. All that for top shelf and 3£. GO F YOURSELVES seriously.
I've recently become addicted to all varieties of your chocolate. It's truly is superior to anything else I find in the grocery store. Thank you for doing what you do.
I tried this for the first time yesterday. I didnt grab it because of it being slave free. It just looked appealing, but this chocolate is amazing. The whole idea is incredible
Same! I bought it cause I happened to receive it as a gift previously and loved the flavour. Now that I know the social mission behind this, I will definitely look out for it more.
I will be honest, I never bought this chocolate bar because I seen the slave free sticker but because the wrapping design made me think Charlie and the chocolate factory. Learning the Misson behind this company is amazing and I shall carry on buying this chocolate
The Tony's Chocolonely company is planning to re develop a old factory outside of Amsterdam (though it has been proponed because of covid.)
They presented architect renderings what the re development would look like to the city council.
And yes it includes a roller-coaster because Tony said no chocolate factory is truly complete without a roller-coaster.

Well done for making a move on the slave masters. I have shared this with my friends on Facebook. Lets hope this gathers a fast momentum. I bought this from my local supermarket in UK because it was different. Nice chocolate for a good cause. Keep up the good work Tony's
Wow, this project is heartwarming. And so is your chocolate
We have it here in San Jose! But in SoCal I never heard of it. The word still needs to spread. Best chocolate ever!
Jake Eyes brought me here. I had no freaking clue about what was going on. Slavery was never welcome in this world, but it supplies some of the most popular foods in the world. And that’s disgusting. It’s really freaking uncomfortable to know, but it’s a message we need to hear.
This chocolate is so good. I can't get enough of it. Brilliant
I am doing a demo of your product at WholeFoods on 6-13-18 and feel so proud to share your chocolate and vision.
Eating Tony's chocolonely as I type this...
My name is Tony
My father discovered your chocolate in Dubai and brought some for the family. Apart from the great taste I love the message you send with it...keep up the good work!
just finished trying a caramel and sea salt bar. wow! I thought it would last me a few days at least. it is so delicious. and now that I know Tony's reason for existing, I proudly support this company and will only buy chocolate from them.
Here in the netherlands tonys is gotten really big. In my family we only eat this chocolate not only is it slave free but tastes so much better its has such a rich flavor.
I’m so grateful for what they’re doing. I hope they succeed. This chocolate is so unexplainably good. And I’m not even that into chocolate. But wow. Yum. (Tried 70% Dark version). This will be my only chocolate brand henceforth.
Very tasty choclate!
Proud to support them by buying and eating chocolate!
My favorite chocolate is the pretzel with toffee
I love the message just ate a bar not too long ago it is my favorite chocolate thank you for doing what you’re doing!
Thank you so much for your work! Not only is this the BEST chocolate bar ever but it has a mission to save children! It’s an easy buy!
Great product! A company that follows ethics.
Best chocolate bar ever. Just 10/10.
I know they took slavery out but what did they put in??? Wow!! Yuuuuuummeee
wonderful work u are doing
Awesome chocolate! And keep up the good work!
Tried it for the first time today, chunky, creamy and delicious. It also comes like a mosaic..very very nice. Plus it's ethically produced..wonderful ❤❤
I just found Tony's at my local DeCicco's market and boy! It is one of the best chocolates I have ever had!
I will be buying more...there goes my A1C !
Good video, great story, amazing chocolate and an awesome vision. Please keep on going, listen to your heart, not to your wallet.
You guys are incredible. ONLY buying your chocolate going forward. I have a crazy sweet tooth. Ever since quitting alcohol, I’ve become a chocolate addict. I’m happy to know that when I buy your chocolate, I’m fighting against slavery. Keep up the fight ✊🏼
i never knew how gross american chockate like hershey’s were until people from other countries say it tastes like vomit… we’re just so use to the milk in it, i never thought how weird it tastes from any “real” chocolate i’ve had… i decided to splurge on tony’s and it was so worth it. delicious milk chocolate in a big bar i eat by myself… my lonely bar lol
Just tried one today! Quite good actually
Why is Tony so chocolonely
...sorry, couldn't resist. This is amazing chocolate with a great mission and I'll be sure to buy lots more!
Because they're the only ones making slave-free chocolate? If other companies get on the bandwagon they won't be so lonely anymore.
Bought some. Delicious chocolate and I'm so happy it goes to a good cause.
I buyed a bar of this chocolate not knowing about slavery. Now I will tell my friends, family, and others about this chocolate and why they should stop buying the chocolate. I hope if your reading this you will do the same . Just by spreading this info can ruin the slavery that is happening .
Cool story there!
Best chocolate bar I've ever had!
🔥🔥🔥 Keep up the good work 🔥🔥🔥
tony's chocolonely and divine chocolate are my favorite chocolates!!
Guess Tony’s chocolate will be the only chocolate I’ll be eating for now on since it’s slave free. Their chocolate is really good.
I've seen these in a high end supermarket, and noticed they cost about 3X more than the benchmark, locally produced bars. At a glance I didn't notice the anti-slave angle; just the crazy high cost.
im from germany and the tony chocolate is delicious and not soo expensive i think
I tried it at a a very millennial market and when i took the first bite i was in love with the chocolate
Tonys is the best chocolate I've ever had!
I came across this choco bar in Salt Lake City, so good!
thank you for this video
Love it 😍
I didn't even know about these slaves until I got a Tony's Choco :( thanks for teaching me
I just got some and it’s good the original one and the sea salted Carmel one in las Vegas found it at a cvs
I actually did not know what this was until I think 5th grade where I saw a Tony's Chocoloney bar on my teachers desk until I saw the anti slavery patch on the chocolate, so when I went to whole foods I got a Tony's chocoloney and tried it. I now only eat Tony's chocoloney.
Just tried chocolate of this company. Now I’m buying only chocolate of this brand not only because of it’s policy to fight the slavery, but because of its high quality too!!!
Big Up!
Thanks for what you do every time I i swipe one of your bars I appreciate it’s going to a good cause
The only issue is you can't break it easy. The chocolate goes everywhere.
❤God bless you all 🙏🏻❤️
The most addictive chocolate bar ever so gorgeous
Got 4 bars of it today at Whole Foods. Delish!
Best choco hands down
It’s yummy too! Just had dark chocolate pretzel toffee bar and it is good!
This chocolate bar is the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten..❤
Like a real Wonka bar
here after Last week tonight with john oliver
Greates bits is the best imo
You got the chocolate, I'm on your side
why do you guys have a ad where it says in west africa theres farmers that works for almost no money and kids are also forced to work?
eating one of tony's bars rn and just finding out what they are. its sad to think that people still enslave other people for their benefit. We must be better
Just started seeing it in Chicago id say its better than American chocolate some. Depending how much you wanna spend for quality chocolate and tonys is really good with a good reason
Just tried my first Tony’s bar. Gonna stick to the slave chocolate in the future. Tastes much better
Just bought a bar today and it’s fockn delicious.
I'm in Tony!!!!!
In my country this choclate is starting to get some boost
as a wise @kamerajr once said
"Tony is the real willy wonka. But its not that his chocolate doesn't come with shiny golden tickets or singing oompa loompas. Instead it makes the world a better place".
I’m glad I saw this and grabbed it at target cause now I think chocolate companies who make there’s with no child slavery or any slavery is the only ones I’ll eat, plus I mean it tastes amazing.
I love how politicians in America always speak as tho they're just innocent bystanders with no power to.... legislate. 🥴
God this world is so cruel why are we all alive?
I bought your chocolate it is DELICIOUS
I love this chocolateeeee it taste like Toblerone but cheaper n bigger 😊😊😊😊
So. Im here working and decide to buy a chocolate bar. I look down and Tony’s Chocoloney pops up. I bought it and now Im enjoying an 8oz chocolate bar for $7.99
The branding/wrapper looks like something a 10-year-old would come up with and wherever you see this stuff on sale they are always asking for OBSCENE amounts of money per bar
Jai entendu parlé d'eux grâce à la série Pourri / Rotten de Nerflix mais je trouve pas de commerce qui vendent leurs produits
and its far from bad chocolate. its better than hershey's any day of the week. its equivalent to any belgian or swiss chocolate, imho. and also imho, its not that much more expensive. its an extra big ass bar for $6. thats quite a good price.

It's the best chocolate I ever tasted
Just bought a bar of the sea salt caramel, and it's hands down one of the best chocolate bars I've ever had in my life, and the idea that it's slavery-free is a huge bonus.
May the Good Lord Jesus Christ bless this company's righteous endeavors 🙏😇🙏
i edge to your videos tony
Love the chocolate but hate how I cannot get even pieces
Unusual? This should be the norm! First saw the bars in Amazon warehouse and so what it's $5 it's a guilt free giant chocolate bar!
There chocolate is bussin tho
Yo yo yo I got my own chocolate now!
i just wish you would not use emulsifiers and find a way to reduce the carb content. Otherwise, its perfect chocolate.
I would love to taste this chocolate.I have eaten chocolate from all over the world (that is sold in the U.S.A.)/.Not all chocolate is equal in qualty though.I was disappointed by some from Poland that had too much of a cinnamon taste.I am partial to Belgian chocolate and Swiss chocolate and Hershey's and Lindt and Ghirsrdhelli.I will keep eating those because I love them.and I;d need to see the price for this because I'm honestly NOT in a position to pay top dollar for it.I often buy from the 99 cent store. But I will keep this in mind and i HAVE purchased "Fair Trade" chocolate from the dollar store. It was pretty good but not the best I've ever had
I bought 3 bars at the Schipol Airport (Amsterdam) for 9€ - that works out to about $3.50 for a big, heavy tablet of chocolate. It's really not that expensive when you consider how big these are, how great they taste, AND the fact that you're not supporting child slavery. I won't miss any of the other chocolate I've been eating - this chocolate is fairly priced and the best I've ever had - even better than the Belgian or Swiss stuff.
The bars from this brand seem pricey (not THAT bad, as fair trade products go) until you realize how thick and heavy they are. They're also delicious. I'm so glad I found this brand. I'm never buying chocolate again that I can't reasonably confirm is slave-free.
Never heard of Tony's before a friend brought some with her from Amsterdam. Best Chocolate bar EVER!
