This Leela is about Anandrao Dolas. In our last episode, we witnessed a Leela that happened with him and Bendre Master. Today we will be speaking about another such Leela. Truly, Anandrao was so fortunate that he got to see multiple Leelas in his lifetime.
Anandrao was a very benevolent man and always kept a portion of his salary to send to Baba. Since travelling to Shirdi wasn’t always an option, Anandrao wanted to find a way in which he could send the money to Baba. One such day, when Anandrao was travelling in train, at Churchgate station, he met Annasaheb Dabholkar, another ardent Sai Baba devotee.
On conveying his problem to Annasaheb Dabholkar, he was notified about the procedure of sending in the money for the Sansthan and also recommended him to become a subscriber of the Sai Leela magazine to support its sustenance. In the coming days, Anandrao would visit Shirdi pretty frequently and get the blessed darshan of Sai and involve himself in seva.
Anandrao always wrote back a letter to his wife when in Shirdi. Once so it happened, due to some reason, he couldn’t make it back home in time. In this stressful time, his wife had a dream where an old man came along with a child and handed him to her saying he was always in his protection and there was nothing to worry about. On waking up, she realized that it was no other than Baba who came to assure her. Anandrao reached safely the next day.
It is seen by this Leela that when we involve ourselves in Baba’s Bhakti, he looks after us even in the smallest, most mundane issues of our daily life. Such is our Baba. Let us bow down to him and rest in the fact that we are protected by our Baba at all times. Om Sai Ram.
