@bigdog9935 ok. I have no problem proving it. While I do that, could you please define what you mean by "guru"? Firstly, do I think that white America has lied about parts of history? Hell yeah! The biggest lie was Christopher Columbus being the one to discover a country that people already lived in. So does "white America" lie? Hell nah. Secondly, if you watch the video, you'll see that in a lot of parts of Black American music, especially genres like funk, its elements of Congo drums (referencing the Congolese origins) and other instruments of Latin music. The example I gave was James Brown, who had these sounds in his break beats. Some credit James Brown being the creator of Hip Hop, so even if you want to say Puerto Ricans weren't apart of Hip Hop directly, the sounds are part of the music anyway. Hope that helps!
One question if every body come from black people so how do I music come from them and they said black people was here thousand years before help me understand that part
@bigdog9935 I'm not sure where you're from. But I'm not saying Black people in America made all music. I'm saying people of African descent made all different kinda music in the different places they are in using the African influence.

@@EmpressPhynixEshe I didn't mean that in a negative way. It's just most people forgets to start their argument with the TRUE FACT, first there was a "PANGEA"! Second the "BLACK RACE" was the first humans on the planet! Third, before slave ship were even made there was "BLACKS" living in the AMERICA'S! The PANGEA explains it all....
When and where?😂😂😂😂😂
Yall need to read the war against all the puerto ricans! Also its noteworthy Cuba had the biggest UNIA chapter outside the US RE Carlos Cooks
He does have African roots and ancestry.
I am FBA and we love Africa 🌍 the mother loand😊❤❤
This is a great build beautiful sista! You seem like the only 1 talking since ✊🏿✌🏿
One time the ancient Kushite's were a world🌎 power🌅 just like the United States is a world🌎 power🌅 today
Who is Stokely Carmichael also known as Kwame Ture?
Sorry sister but you are 100% wrong on what you're saying if Spanish and Jamaican people had anything to do with the origins of rap where are the early Rhythm or sound in the early rap music
Either you are of African origin or your not
Puerto Ricans ancestors are from Africa! Learn your history fba?
Maybe you should tell that to them. They claim Native in the chats. Black when pertaining to Hip Hop, but wyt when they check that box! Joe said he 'calls himself Black cuz he grew up around us and was influenced by us, but that he is wyt Cuban and Puerto Rican! And I call myself Black American!
@chinablack9790 they been thru slavery like we did! Some of them are lost ! ButJoe said he knows his ancestors are from Africa! Don't change what he said!
@jeffreymichaels627 First of all NOBODY has been thru slavery like us! Was it before or after he talks shxt about Black Americans, did he say he is African??? He identifies as wyt on his ID'S . Cuban Link and other dudes said he talks grimy about us and identifies as wyt!
@jeffreymichaels627 I'm gonna see what all of yall who are giving him passes and excuses have to say when he gets fully exposed for his comments! Some of us in the Bronx are aware of his 2 faces!
@@jeffreymichaels627 How many Black people do YOU know identifies as wyt????
Sis stop it.
As a 🇵🇷- Thank you for bringing sensibility , intellectual research and perspective on this topic because this division between Black and Brown over this hip-hop topic is probably the most unproductive and nonsensical debate that has ever been brought upon us - Much Respect to you Queen
It’s no division Puerto Ricans didn’t create hiphop. It’s not division to say that.
I never said that personally - Captain Obvious - I know FBA created Hip Hop - I’m from where it came from the BX - Nothing you can tell me about it@@jerseyboyantbrooks2824
Who are the Kushite's?
This lady is not black white America already well documented black music and guru since slavery from white documentation black America created all these guru this come from white scholars unless they lied i didn't here about no Puerto ricans are Mexicans creations of music so lady iam challenge you to prove it you all talk unless white America lied about the history I dont think so
@bigdog9935 ok.
So all music come through black culture right so why lay claim to something he no didn't come from Puerto ricans
@@EmpressPhynixEsheFunk has absolutely nothing to do with Latino music. You are ignorant.
I like how you broke everything down in this video keep doing your thing Mami God bless
Fat joe was born and raised in black projects and is part of black American culture. He's certified 💯
