For some champs it’s obvious where they shine. Others are more versatile.
Hydra, clan boss, dungeons, faction wars, doom tower floors, bosses and secret rooms, arena…. What appeals to you the most?

I enjoy most contest except for Hydra. I do not have Thea as I find the secret rooms force you to build very bad champions and only the first few Doom Tower champions are worth it.
There is actually a bug with Thea in the Arena. When facing her the HP and action bar are right accross her face. Bad Plarium!
I'm into hydra right now. just got Thea last week 6stared her yesterday she still needs built though so perfect video for me.
I’m disappointed you didn’t do a side by side showcase with ruel. Woulda made a hell of a video.
hydra and doom tower bosses should be shown more in your videos, imo its the 2 hardest places in the game to clear
You should try pairing up with budget friendly options. I'm sure a lot of us end up with someone like this eventually, so it might be nice to see how someone like this could pair with champs like Bellower or archmage to help inspire creativity.
Or maybe I just use Athel too much.
They should just add an option to use the gold medals in a shop. Maybe finally add a universal fragment option to pick up frags for fusions you missed
Yes i was thinking this, i have so many half finished fusions its not even funny anymore
Maybe make the market upgradeable kinda like the gem mine. Then that would allow a player to buy a universal fragment or increase the odds of getting blue shards and better gear.
see you forgot something important, that would mean plarium cares enough to do that
I have 15-20 fusions with 85-95 shards and absolutely nothing to show for it, what's the point of retaining shards I can't do anything with? They never make it possible to warn more again...

I like that you cover all the different area's and show ways to use lower end champions. Being low to mid game, I am still struggling through Faction wars & Arena. Still trying to make it through to Silver IV. I do not have Thea, but I did just get Archmage Helmet. I manage to get through the Secret rooms & get slammed when I get to the Scarab King. Progress is slow. I think the universal shards idea is a good one. I can never get enough shards when they have those events. Keep up the positive vibes!
Use Shield Sets and Shield Champs, don't forget Destroy Sets also! :)
Maybe adding rewards for winning battles in Arena? Or items you can buy with arena medals?
Ash, I love the content! I disregarded the reviews and fully built Thea in January, prior to the champion rebalance on her. I’ve been using her ever since in the Hydra CB & I paid her with Ruel.
As for the Great Hall, I fully developed mine pretty recently. I would love to see these two stats for all four Affinities; 1. +10% CR at level 10 upgrade. 2. +10 Speed at level 10 upgrade. Nothing much too break the game but, I think the +10 speed would tremendously help new players finding the speed they’ll need in PVE. That way they can actually farm more for artifacts & accessories. Idk what everyone else feels on the additional GH stats.
I got her and really am looking for a showcase in Hydra where i feel she can be a very reliable nuker if paired with Mithrala. Her low book requirements make her also attractive leveling option
Yea I definitely should have given her a try in hydra on this video. She does pretty well but not as good as the enemy max HP champs Husk & Royal Guard. Hope that helps.

This is exactly why I maxed and booked her... the book cost is very good value. You won't max any other lego out with such little books, good investment, i dont really use her much lol, but as the game goes on more champs become more useful. She's good anyways. But not so much for me.

I've been trying to find a way of getting her into one of my Hydra teams too.

The only problem about adding more to the Great Hall, is that other people will have more to the Great Hall as well. It'll just make it more difficult for those that haven't gotten close. But Hades, with his evil prank update videos XD, made a good point about what to do after the GH is maxed. Like have the points be converted to the Bazaar, or something.
After after all this time im finally getting thea this week as long as i can do the rooms and with mithrala and my cleo i think she will do great. Thanks for the videos all these years!
I have, despite having everything up to Mithrala and Ramantu, never once pulled a Seer. So yeah, I use Thea. In tandem with Thylessia she can speed farm the level 20 KR crypt and she's no slouch against some of the Hydra rotations too.
This event for ancient shards I pulled my first Orc legendary King Garog. Never seen anything on this champion. Was wondering your thoughts.
Off topic, i was wondering if you had an opinion on this built my dark kael fast and very tanky with little attack and just enough crit rate to land the debuff extender. Is that right? Or should I not neglect his attack and crit damage in favor of the defense and hp? He seems to do pretty well on dragon and clan boss and on my secondary Hydra team I gave him 56k hp 4959 def and 415 accuracy. He does have 300 resistance also (whoopty Doo) oh and 276 spd
Hey hey! I like the build you have. I prioritize crit rate, acc and speed with enough HP/DEF since most of his damage comes from the A1 along with his poisons. Good luck!

I'm lucky to complete 1 secret room on DT hard per rotation (just over a year in) I also have trunda and leo and 2 ruel so on nukers I'm good
Thea has many things working against her in arena (offense):
1) She's Force - Duchess exists
2) Hex prereq - Million ways for this to go wrong (3%, high res, Immunity/Untouchable/SS, Resurgence, Cleansing acc, Cleansers)
3) Can't set herself up efficiently, in a scenario where the rest of team dies, she's not going to be able to pull off a clutch reversal like a Leo, Candy, Trunda, Rotos, or even like Gaius or Magnarr could. She also hits for less than either of Trunda's AoEs in arena.
For wave content, booked ungeared damage:
Ruel 15424 +25%ignoredef
Heifer Rack 13417 +15%ignoredef
Thea 14571
Trunda 11577(A2), 12542(A3)
More GH levels would be fine, but boring. People already complain to no end with existing GH and it's not even that big of a deal esp nowadays when there are so much more stats from multiple sources. They could do it, but why not also add a store that uses medals, sell us dupes of champs that can't be obtained once unlocked like Lydia or Ramantu that can't be used for empowerment, just for alternative builds. Chaos Ore, high level glyphs, charms, shards, and RNG accessories. Maybe even new skins, idk.

Yes duchess exists, but plenty of teams not runnnig her.
The problem with her is mainly in plat arena where you need a dmg dealer that can do the job without the hex prereq since you would need a arbiter - cc - madame to utilize go first teams in their full potential, cc being mostly kymar. So that leaves your only 2 option being either exchanging madame for cleo, or exchanging kymar for cleo which would mean you need to hit speed prereq on everyone other than arbiter as to not get cut.
Imo it can work pretty well if you have gear with the speeds to make it work by subbing out kymar. Yes you would lose dmg due to speed req compared to a trunda team, but since her dmg is very comparable with trunda (if you hit all 4 hex )and trunda deals too much dmg anyway, it can work. (trunda hits for 11.52 if you calc the multipliers and extra hit, thea hits for 10.5 on 4 hex and that is before taking the hex changes into consideration)
As a sidenote, she is actually perfect in a team with madame subbed out for ragash where you can stun and apply def down eliminating speed requirements. In a team like that she should be just as effective as trunda with kymar - madame - arbiter If not more due to extra dmg and cc coming from both cleo and ragash.
The Problem is how to get any hex champ viable and why if you can litterally nuke with anybody else. Oftentimes even a Foli deals to do multiple times the dmg needed to wipe any champ out of their shoes. So considering there are 10 to 15 even stronger conventional nukers than foli why should we bother about placing hex? There are now some things plarium constructed in game so hex could make life easier like in hydra but the simplest strategies will win at anytime against the complicated ones in the long run.
Wait, who is heifer rack?
No more Great Hall levels. Rather, they should add a store that uses the Great Hall currencies. If they want, they can even prevent that store from being accessible until the Great Hall is maxed. That would give incentive to max the Hall and incentive for players who have a maxed Hall to keep playing in Arena.

I don't have her yet, because I don't quite have the teams to do the secret rooms reliably. I've got like 50 fragments and I'm looking forward to getting the rest.
I'm a little over a year in and only have 12 fragments for Thea. DT hard wave content I can get through with my control team, but it's the bosses and faction specific secret rooms that are blocking my progress on the DT Hard champions. Right now, Bommel (even on the higher Normal stages) is basically impossible for me. I have a couple options for champions but I don't have the gear required to get them to work. Some of the secret rooms are easy, but the faction ones on Hard are basically undoable. For reference, I haven't been able to complete any of the FW crypts completely.
So at my current rate, Thea is like another year out, same with Mithrala.
Yep years in and I don’t have the rares for hard doom tower. Trying to struggle buss my way through faction wars first. Can do DT normal but only like a room or two on hard every rotation.
Thea has been my most wanted champion even before her buff. Unfortunately, I can’t do hard doom tower yet. She still remains my most wanted champion along with Madame Serris
Make it possible to use arena tokens for either a new (good for arena) artifact set or to buy other in game things maybe like a arena token shop where you can use tokens to get energy,books ect on a weekly cooldown.

You should also consider Akemtum for hex placement. Or have an AOE champion with HEX gear. Thoughts?
Thea looks interesting. No thank you to more great hall levels. Like others have commented I would rather they make some kind of a shop where you can buy things with the medals. Good things. Missing fragments would be great.

Hey Ash, you should make an update on Thea, wouldnt she be even more awesome with Michinaki since he can strip buffs then place Hex?
I have the great hall maxed and 47k gold medals which are worthless unless they change the great hall. would love to see crit rate added.
Would you not value a affinity breaker set over sets that decrease def given she hits so hard she can overcome any def but if she doesn't land her hit due to off affinity, all the savage etc gear in the world won't help?

This champ needs an updated feature video especially using the new artifact sets in hydra.
You should run Serris for strip/decrease def instead of Ragash.
I got thea pretty recently, 26 fragments towards urost
what we really need for thea to be viable is a seeker/kimi style tm booster with an arena speed aura that also places hex with a strip. then you could speed tune siphi and another tm booster and a cc champ or defense down champ and thea to nuke.

I'm not sure more great hall bonuses are needed, but having some kind of reward for your arena efforts once it's done would be nice, maybe open a new shop that uses medals as currency once the great hall is complete.

Yes I have had her for a long time she is level 60 but I have never put one piece of gear on her LOL. Ever since this changed I have been thinking about building her and giving her a go

You should finish normal DT and start pushing up through hard to get a bit of both rewards dont let your time go to waste by not trying to progress. I made this mistake for along time. Dont be like me lol

I think adding great hall levels at this point would just further the gap between those who have and haven’t maxed it already. Those who have maxed it are sitting on thousands of medals and could buy the extra levels immediately. They should add something for people who have the extra medals to do something with however 100%. A shop/bazaar or maybe convert to the existing bazaar currency.

i wouldnt touch the great hall unless you add speed and crit rate.. i myself have 60% of the great hall yet to do so adding to it would be worse for me. again i would rather see a place to farm books than any other change right now
Only about 10% of the player base has Mithrala and Thea, thats why they are hardly used and the players that have played long enough to have them have better champs! Great video i got my last Thea frag today will summon tom during cvc, Thanks Ash.

I am at 57 shards for her( thanx to Mithrala who does doomtower hard on 5☆ lvl 38 no books, with little effort) With those base stats and amazing kit to my taste Thea has to be good ,I love underrated champs so can't wait to build her( Thea and Mithrala is a team on it's own I think)

18:17 - more great hall levels? That sound like absolute nightmare but i really would like some option for end game players to actually do something with their gold medals even thou i doubt i will reach the point when i have nothing to do with mine medals in less then 2 years

Or like in some infamous Hellhades patch video, converting them intro tag team arena gold bars. For now if you max your hall they just sit here and if you don't enjoy arena as content doing more then 5 for daily quest seems like pure waste of time. I just sit at G5 with my 1 man arena def picking up other 1 man def and that's arena for me. If you can't afford building arena specific team is near inpossible to enjoy this mode and beacause of lack of use for gold medals after maxing great hall is hard for me to find a reason to actually commit to building real arena team
allow people to finish fusions that they missed out on. maybe using arena medals to trade for random rotation of fusion shards of past fusions. since they don't rerun them anyway
Did you think of trying her on hydra? I'm tempted to book her just for this. Technically, her aoe would come every 2 turns, and she comes with a veil for the head that fears. She should be amazing, no?

add levels to Great Hall AND make it possible to level them without arena - don't get why tag arena doesn't give shields for leveling it for e.g.
Thea is on my To Do list, but have not build her beyond 50, despite having her for a long while now... Mostly cause I want to use my Lego Books on other champs and I prefer to get champs to 60 Only when I can book them or if they do not need books.

I just got thea today after watching a video about how she sucks as a legendary. So is she good or bad or badly good. Which is it.
Think you missed the main reason she isn't used, it's the hex setup to get her nuking, before Mithrala came along the only champions that could do this setup to clear waves were different affinities to Thea (well thought out Plarium :) ) on your Dragon run you needed to save either Cleo or Ruel hex placing aoe for the 2nd wave you used them all on same wave, Mithrala hex place on 2nd wave is a problem because the enemy gets a turn and one is petrified reducing the Thea damage when she nukes, doh! Run it again with either Cleo or Ruel placing hex just before Thea nukes, needs speed tuning or the AI set up per wave to avoid that petrification on 2nd wave, easy with a Kymar. Since cd reduction on the buff she is easier to setup than Seer if you have no Kymar. Great content creation though Ash, love the humor in your videos!

Doesnt hephraak deal More dmg than Thea? At least for Arena? With his aoe multi hit wich need some built up. Were like 3x trunda damage when HH were testing. But Still awesome numbers for Thea there is just The other issues. Keep doing More videos like this really enjoying thanks.! 🤑👍

I feel Mithrala is the only way Hex can work atm. Thinking of messing with Thyleasia+mithrala +Thea
I do not have Seer, so I use Thea in my speed runs of dragon and fire knight 20!
I'm stuck on the second Nether spider on normal. Relequay handled the first but not the second. I just don't have a good cleanser. So Thea could be a long way away
Who are you using for hp burn I don't use any cleanser except doompriest

@@Shnookie3.14 i recommend you use drex and for normal dt you can use a nuker to kill the spiderlings but i recommend just letting drex's hp burn do the work. Don't use aoe attacks since whenever they counterattack they heal the spider only single target champs unless you have an aoe nuker who can one shot the spiderlings

I don't think they need higher than rank 10 great hall at the moment, but myabe a way to convert tokens into something useful.
She would be amazing on spider hard coupled with mithrala!

I have a bunch of hex champions I use her and mithrala but something is missing with hex maybe it should ignore stone skin unkillable and block damage then it would be op lol
I already have 1 nuker per affinity (candy, magnarr, skullcrown, Big'un), so I'm not really in a rush to build this one.

I runt Thea comp instead of seer for dt waves. Dubbel kaymar mithrala Lydia and Thea , she wreck havok on the Waves 😎
You should try the book Happiness Hypothesis. Very good book

IF we add more levels to Great Hall, then we need more ways to farm medals. An alternative option.... combine 3v3 gold bars with great hall medals. one currency spent in both places. Gives players more choices to develop account.

I want to get her so bad! I just love her aesthetics! From the moment I started playing Raid I would pull her up just to glare at how beautiful she is but I doubt I’ll ever get her because I suck 🤦♀️

Well that makes me feel better but the team I use consists of Krisk, Arbiter, Lyssandra, & Rhazin Scarhide, I do decently in the Arena but have been on the 21st floor of the Doom Tower (on normal) for a few weeks. Just seems like I’ll never get through the normal level let alone any harder resistance lol

I’m 3 years in to the game low spender I only have 5-6 10s and mostly 4-6 in the rest.
I'm 2+ years lvl 93 and I have 66 of her frags . Plarium seems to not wanna give me hard hitters so I struggle to get past 30 or so hard dt.
You don’t need hard hitters to beat DT. Go slow and control. Drex, Scyl, Visix and Archmage can beat most waves. Not fast, but reliable. All free champs.
@@shawnhus 3 waves of siphi's warlords and sineshas without any proper dmg it's a never ending battle . Thankfully I recently pulled seer and she was able to help with those ignorant waves lol
No Thea the tomb angel. I might have cleared normal doom tower, but can't get the speeds/acc/res for doom tower hard. I don't have my great hall developed either. Not a fan of arena, not a fan of tag team arena, though I do have drexthar bloodtwin, I just pulled Toragi the frog, so I'm happy about that character.
I don't have her. I lack the champions and arties to manage more than a couple of rooms on the DT Hard path, let alone a secret room.

Who has the time to food food or gear🤔 if they add a skip option it would make the game so much better I hate watching my team play the same dungeon for 2hrs to get trash gear I hate watching 12-3 for 120 multi battles to lvl food add a skip option it would help out drastically

I don't think we need an extension of the great hall. Instead I think what we need is a classic arena store where the players who have completed the great hall can spend their (currently) unusable resources for in game bonuses.
My sense is at some point they will make content that's not Seer-friendly. When that happens, hex will come into its own.
