Weighing a claimed 97 grams sans cover, and measuring 1.81 x 1.1 x 2.52 inches, the CYCPLUS Cube / AS2 pump is small and lightweight. The small size lends itself well to carrying in a jersey pocket, or somewhere convenient on your bicycle. One-button operation to turn on, double-tap of the same button to begin the inflation process.
Maximum air pressure is 100PSI and 5L/min wind speed allows the CYCPLUS Tiny Cube air pump to achieve rapid inflation, and reach 80 PSI in about 80 seconds with a 700c x 25mm tyre.
Features:
* Rechargeable battery requires 20 minutes to charge fully. With a full charge, it claimed to inflate two 700c x 25mm tyres from 0 to 80 Psi.
* Compatible with Presta or Schrader valves.

Finally a lil pump that is not a complete waste of space.
FYI there are two other models, a tiny bit larger with pressure gauge you can set as the target psi. My Amazon link should show you the other sizes
Used it today to put air into 2 flat 27.5 /2.6 tires. Worked great! Thanks for the look out Jon!🍻
The device that you never knew that you "needed".
No more Co2 for me, but the mini pump stays as Plan B.
I see this as a potential tool for carrying in the car for quick top-ups when you get to a trail head. I would worry about its durability and water resistance... both critical if throwing it into a bag, or pocket for a ride. But, as always, great review and info, JOM. Thanks.
I’ve been using one of these for the last several months with both tubeless gravel and road rides. Has worked flawlessly, can inflate a 30c road tire from flat to 70psi about 4 times, and it charges back up quick, appears to hold a charge well.
Have taken it on wet cold rainy rides, no durability issues, and has replaced my hand pump on shorter rides less than 40 miles.
Do you still bring a co2 or two? I don’t get flats often and these seem appealing but I would still want a co2 or hand pump as a backup if I didn’t have a full charge.
I still have a co2 with me in a little saddle bag, but I haven’t used it once since I got the pump. I even use it on buddies flats a couple times.
As alluded to in the video, I'm keeping my microscopic hand pump handy during all rides.
Thorough test! I think this beats CO2. But this could cause some serious battery anxiety if you don't carry an extra mini pump.
For me this would be worth it if it had enough charge to be able to get at least 2 or3 (or more) tubes fully inflated on gravel tires when I need the bead to seat (so over inflation) . And it would have be able to do this in colder weather when batteries are stressed. In this case the form factor would beat the usual 2 co2 canisters I need to carry. I very rarely carry a pump. I have been fortunate to get very few flats so it would be good if the battery maintained a full charge for at least 3 to 6 months so I don’t have to think about it. Co2 is good for several years without thinking about it.
Great review. This thing is pretty sweet looking. Has anyone tried it on a higher volume MTB tire? 29x2.4 or more?
I reckon the pump has the juice to do the job. Back to back 700c x 43 and 700c x 45 inflations give it a reasonable chance, I would think.
Another electronic device to recharge, that will inevitabky be out pf charge once one needs it...
Definitely have to give recharging a thought periodically.
Australia is building one of the world's largest supercharger stations. And there will surely be someone who comes up with a USB adapter for devices like these.
So you still need to carry a pump and it costs as much as 80-90 CO2 cartridges. You'd have to be getting a lot of punctures for this to make sense.
You don't need to carry a pump, but I do regardless even with CO2. This product is definitely not for everyone, and a wee bit pricey.
Co2 is pretty wasteful, and you cannot fly with them either.
@@Thomas-fy9yc Spot on, and another bonus for this pump.
