The best game ever created. I love this game a lot. It gives so much nostalgia. And the customization in this game is fantastic. And the fact that the main characters speak, makes it one of the best car games. There are pink slip races, wagers and etc. There is interior customization that consists of interior neons, gauges, steering wheel, and seats. It is truly the best game.
I was coming from thinking nfs underground 2 was the best open world racing game, it’s definitely #2 behind Midnight club LA. Most wanted is fire as well.
Cruise control turns the game into a driving simulator, riding my illegal R34 down Santa Monica Boulevard. That's the only right hand drive car in the game and they reworked the camera position and shifting!

The fact that it’s still so good when it comes to customization even by today’s standards says a lot. More games need to do interior customization like this game did, I want steering wheels, seats, and more in Forza.

This game had the best paint customization ever. Nothing has come close for one simple block/tool... the transparency effect. It allowed some really cool designs.
I'm glad you finally played this game. I was part of the group the helped petition for it to be backwards compatibal for Xbox one. Its still one of my favorite games of all time and hope Rockstar make a new one
MCLA came out when I was in my first term of my first year of middle school. I played it earlier today, and it seems to have aged like wine. It was ahead of it's day, if I say so myself.
This game aged like a fine wine, still fun to play. It introduced me to a lot of cars growing up, it's partially the reason I love the W211 S class so much

A good racing games isn't just about fancy cars and a good handling module, it needs to have character. Midnight Club in general had the most character a racing game ever had.
I beat every single Midnight Club game and I love watching you discover Midnightclub LA. Should do a Revisit for Midnight Clubs 1-3, the early games were primitive given modern context of gaming but were legendary for their time. I'm looking foreward to the Let's Play series for LA, making me want to revisit this game eventhough I've beat it three times lol
I'm not sure if your were but I love manual shifting in this game it really puts a shine on the whole game And it has like the best first person of any arcadey racing game, it's so much fun I miss this game so much

You need to revisit Midnight Club 3. The air suspension in that game was awesome. You could send a truck bouncing like crazy with that stuff if you hit a jump while the suspension was active.
I felt the same way about the map, It was Rockstar's last Midnight Club game, but I found it awesome that the map used here in 2008 is basically the San Andreas / GTA V map!

If there's any game that needs a sequel its Midnight club, thease games were insanely good and packed with features.
Don't forget test drive unlimited. One of the best open world racing games ever made!

Pro tip if you want the camera to stop doing that zoom thing when u turn change it to static i feel like it changes the handling entirely somehow
