The Miz during this time truly made the mid card feel more special. His Intercontinental Championship reign showed us fans that it still matters as an actual prize, and a lot of his segments definitely felt a tiny bit more exciting than some of the main event stuff. Good times👍

The Miz's 2016-2017 run was amazing as he delivered epic matches while re-established himself as a major player. His historic IC title, rivalry with Dolph and the infamous Talking Smack promo on Bryan made this run very memorable. The Miz was WWE's most hated heel during that run
Not gonna lie if we being real, he had 2 epic matches & the rest was forgettable outside of the mic work

Miz from 2016 - 2018 when he was IC Champion was amazing. Especially the feud with Dolph Ziggler, whenever I think of that rivalry I immediately think of that AMAZING promo Dolph Ziggler had when he poured his heart out

Those were really good intercontinental titles, but it was really annoying having Maryse helping Miz to win. Especially Miz won it back from Dolf Ziggler, and Ziggler never won it back. What was the point of Ziggler winning at No Mercy 2016.

I feel like the Smackdown portion of this run is a bit overrated, and the RAW portion is way underrated. I remember Miz making the intercontinental championship the MAIN title of RAW because Lesnar never showed up with the Universal Title.

To be fair the IC title had no "prestiege" because DB was hurt,they removed wade barrett from any title picture,and the constant over hyping of champs like Ryback🤦♂️ and etc,ruined the title aura while oddly at same time cena was giving the us title one last classic run 🤷♂️
