I make mine up in a resin 3D printer. Many styles available to print. Set your own size depth and width and hit print.

May I suggest drying the in a dehydrator for about 2 hours at 120 degrees. That's what I do and they are a lot more durable.

I’m new to getting back into modeling since I’ve recently retired and I don’t have any rims yet that I can sacrifice. But I do want to do something similar to this and was wondering. Have you heard of anyone maybe using something along the lines of plastic pipe like you would buy at Home Depot, Lowe’s to make something similar? And using a cheap Teflon skillet to make the outside bead. I’ve searched several, I’m not familiar with to many sites yet to try to buy wheel back rings, and the ones I’ve searched, I haven’t been able to find any. If you have any suggestions, I’d be much appreciative to who might have some. And great video by the way.

I really haven't heard of anyone trying the pipe thing, but that's where new ideas and techniques come from is trying something new.
