This guitar is super close sounding to my 67 in the same color and near the same condition. Only thing is that mine was oversprayed in black and then stripped back to daphne blue. There are some tells left over. Some checking has black lacquer in the fissures and some awkward spots have been sanded through. The original color is 99% there. Damn these are cool. Hate to say it, but I like a mustang more than a Jaguar.
Gee, you might have demonstrated some different pickup settings... it can do out-of-phase you know... also, the wang bar can go completely crazy. My first Fender was a '65 Duo Sonic II in Daphne Blue.
As this was a student guitar I’d like to think this made some kid really happy to have it back in 1966.
Mustangs are underrated. Great guitars!
Agree..... best color.
incredible 👌

Duo IIs are great. I was disappointed when they were reissued as hardtail Mustangs.
