The oracle card is beautiful. I got Courage in my box, featuring a lion. I am a scaredy cat that needs to work on courage. Loving the inclusion of evil eye artwork and hanging amulet. My favorite item is the oil. I learn so much when they send protection themed boxes. Understanding more aspects and meanings of safety/security helps access the confidence to try new things.
Courage Dear Karen! You have it! Yes that oil is nice - I love to create bath salts using the oils - I used to put them in my little witches cabinet but I found they just sat there for years without use - so when I moved last year I vowed to start using them and realize they make great bath salts when I mix them in with plain epsom salts. How do you use the oils? 🤗🤗🤗
Adding the oils to bath salts is a great idea! I love how scent influences my state of mind and emotions, so I use these oils everywhere I possibly can. I shower before rituals, and just about slather myself with one of the appropriate oils so I feel cocooned in its energies. I anoint candles, including the tops of tea lights. They are great when putting together salt bowls. Some make nice additions to offering bowls. One day when I can have a separate ritual space that is not always accessible to my kitty, I’d love to use them in an essential oil diffuser (with the tea light underneath). I’m thinking to use these oils to sign petition papers or paint a final intention, like a sigil, before burning them. I’ve given away small vials of them to friends who aren’t subscribed to the WM. These little half ounce bottles go a long way, unless you’re pouring out a teaspoon at a time!

I have a lot of selenite because it’s so abundant and relatively inexpensive so subscription boxes love to include it - i especially like this in this form and inspires me to turn the other pieces I have into amulets. 🤗🤗🤗

As usual, so many beautiful products!! This time it's even difficult to pick the best one. The book of course takes a spot, but I'd probably insert the artwork and the amulet as well!
I'm usually a summer lover, but for some reason this year I'm excited at the idea of fall coming!

Kim, you call the selenite an amulet; Fifi calls it a talisman. What’s the difference? Is it meant to protect you or to enhance your abilities? Or both?
Hi Jpan! Good question - I think a lot of folks use those terms interchangeably - I am sure I have. Haha! But of course the pagan community has all different kinds of ideas what these terms mean...I usually think of amulets as as protective and repelling - so in this case - the amulet included in the WM box was suggested to hang by a door or over sacred space to repel negative energies. I typically think of a talisman as something that increases energies - like carrying a talisman for increasing confidence or success on the job (or often I've heard people using talismans for good luck). I hope that makes sense - I mean ultimately I think it all comes down to intentions - and I truly believe that if you believe something is sacred then it is sacred. :)
An amulet repels a talisman attracts. Amulets tend to ward off evil and bad luck, wheres talismans bring whatever your intent for it is money luck protection health love etc
