I believe you can wire a capacitor in parallel with the LED and filter out the 6vdc until it gets above the sweet spot then it will dump on 12v. I wouldn't know how many Farad or Microfarad to use to filter out 6vdc, I suppose it depends on the draw of the LED and how much current is available while on 6vdc.

Can confirm that the exhaust will shear off when improperly installed. I’ve had two header’s shear off on my going done the road. Luckily it wasn’t to bad of a fix.. but man… It gets expensive replacing header’s.

How tight do you guys run your chains? I picked up an 11 FXDC with a chain drive and I can’t for the life of me get it to stay where I set it. It’ll be adjusted and then I’ll go ride it and hear it clanking around on my guard because it’s so loose. Tighten it a half turn and it’s as tight as a guitar string. I’ve always had chains my entire life and this one is just fucking me up lol
Sounds like you got a cheap ass chain on there. I would buy a quality chain that doesn’t stretch. Usually run 3/4 of an inch of play.
