Hi Betsy, I would like to think I'm always honest, otherwise, viewers lose faith in me and my videos. Food service was good at the Hilton La Romana. Definitely above average. There are a couple of other resorts that I think are a bit of a step above the Hilton, but this takes nothing away from La Romana. Thanks for tuning into my travel channel, the "Getaway Guru."
Hi John, thanks for your note. Your suggestion is noted. My apologies for the delay in responding. My wife is dealing with cancer and my attention has been with her. But good news! After surgery, chemo, and radiation, she is making wonderful progress toward recovery. During this time I have not been adding new posts, but will start again, likely in February. Thanks!
