@@fetoween Yes I also had problems with the bass drum moving, first I placed a piece of wood between the wall and the bass drum, that helps. But now I have screwed the pedal directly to the floor, of course not an option for most places but works in my barn. I am thinking of buying a dedicated drum carpet.
Great job!!!! The Roland TD-15 module sounds fantastic, my first Roland Vdrums kit was a TD-11kv. I wished I had bought the TD-15 instead of the 11. What kit are you using? Can you share your basic settings?
Hi Matt, yes the TD-15 is quite the powerhouse and good value. The basic sounds of the TD-17 and TD-27 are pretty much identical to the TD-15 . I have not tried the TD-11 much, but i know it has other sounds. Maybe you can get one second hand for a good price? Here is my basic setup. Kick: Birch K Snare Aluminum S Toms: Beech HH: 14" Session HH Crash: 18" Bright CrE /Splash E Ride: 20" Dark RdE / 20" Bright Rd / 20" Bright RdB Studio reverb large room, plaster. TD-11 module looks almost exactly like the TD-15 except the 15 has 1 extra trigger input, 3 extra buttons and blue ring light around the main jog wheel. I’ve since upgraded to a TD-17, I found an outstanding deal on TD-17 and SPD-30 octapad on FB marketplace last year. If I see good deal on either a TD-15/25 I would 100% pick of either module one, both have very good sounds.
