Frederick Bulsara was born on 5th September 1946.
Freddie Mercury passed the majority of his childhood time in India, which is also where he began taking piano lessons at just the age of 7 while living with relatives. In 1954, when he was 8, Freddie Mercury was sent to study at St. Peter's School, a British-style boarding school for boys, in Panchgani near Bombay.
No one could foresee where a love of music would take him. 25 years after his birth, in London under the name of Freddie Mercury, he was fronting the now legendary rock group, Queen. What a gigantic turn of events it must've been.
