Don't get me wrong, there is still some rough areas of Toronto and Vancouver. But they are very quickly pushing out the lower class and even lower medium class with their high prices of houses and apartments. So it's not that people are paying millions of dollars for run down homes. All of the lower cost "run down" homes are being demolished for expensive housing projects where the houses are nice and cost a crazy amount of money.
that's true house prices are insane , and for many years was influenced by wealthy people coming from other countries like China that were buying houses cash down , yeah how fare for the rest, not sure what's the law now if the government still allows this
And yet we can't meet the 2% marker when it comes to NATO spending. I love Canada and I'm proud to be Canadian on a lot of levels. But the fact that Poland has a smaller population than we do, and are now spending around 4% on NATO funding, which is higher than the United States. It's kind of embarrassing that Canada can't even meet the 2%.
If you're coming up to Toronto, summer is the best time. Winter not so much.
