I had one of these and sorely miss it. Close to impossible to find a really nice but unrestored example. I don't agree with going 1st to 3rd to save the synchro on 2nd, you'll wear down 3rd eventually. Just take it easy when it's cold, don't rush shifts. The Giulia has a fantastic, 'honest' gearbox which rewards careful shifting with super smooth action. The engine has a very flat torque curve and doesn't have to be wound up in normal driving, 3000rpm is more than enough.
