Marra! This was an effing great vid. So real! Big flavour of your privateer World. The reality of a fall, realising you had a broken hanger (+changer) and no mechanic 2/3 way up the hill, no 2nd run due to that, holding it your nerve and still having to rush the fix was gnarly! And all this for £1100 as an elite athlete who’s the 52nd best in the World as things stand. An eye opener that really puts the torch to the professional sport’s funding model 😤 Respect Marra! 💪💪💪💪
Cheers Marra it was a hectic morning to say the least. The conti GT guys having that hanger on site was a life saver. Saved the commute to the D pit 😂 we’ll keep charging and get back in those semis and then hopefully my first final!
100% deffo need to do the SuperMarra range of products! Gutted for ya mate, the times were tighter than duck’s arse. Maybe on dry tyres ya could’ve made semis but onwards and upwards. Hardline next and the kestrel can spread them wings! Interesting to see the costing breakdown though, no-one shows how much it actually costs you guys to race. Get them GastoFlat teatowels printed!! 🤘❤️🌈🕊️🌍

Interesting to see what costs are involved for such a trip. I noticed also the new chain on the list. Despite your sponsoring you still need to buy stuff your self. Such a contrast with the bigger teams where it seems they have a shit load spare parts. Enjoying your vlogs, especially when Danny is around. Next stop Hardline, go get them marra!
You have to really love it for that to make any sense if you don't get any help when there from UCI. Do they really need the entry fee from privateers 🙄
Dunno if you rent cars regularly...if ya do it might be worth taking out hire car excess cover, something like 50quid for the year. Might be a bit more hassle than the full rally insurance that the hire companies charge through the nose for but if you're renting out cars regularly you'll save a small fortune... money towards bike stuff
Did well there. I was expecting excess luggage to be 9million kadoolies. Adding the cost of kit and bike takes it to about 7k. But then there's you! ....priceless

Absolute bargain xD Btw, that diralleur hanger is absolute BS, mine has bent into the spokes, twisting the chain (good ol' XT wouldnt snap even tho it was like a spiral), spoke snapped, hanger bent, diralleur bent...me? fucked.. xD So i had to change all of it xD
@adbrayton and I happened 4 days before my holiday, that I convinced my Mrs to take my bike to 🤣 managed to sort it. All turned out good :) I've just taken off my float x2 and 38 factory. They are going to silver fish, thx to you xD and my ips failing on float x2, so it started slurping.

I’m only 5 miles outta hamsterley so great for me, I used to see Danny when he was a kid but never bothered him, saw u Adam ages ago on early video part, one of the last earthed vids I think, like ur style both of ya, wish I was younger again and goin to world cups, I could ride good but never took that leap and had no support either, always loved anything on two wheels anyway.
