Thank you!! Do the deer eat your hibiscus and lilies? I do have coneflower in my driveway and they seem to leave that alone. My best perennial flower is good old Lantana.
Can you do a video on shrubs that are heat tolerant. I’m in Utah it gets really cold here and we are still not done with the snow. I’m so over it lol thank you!
Hibiscus/Rose Mallow- How do you know if its the older or newer version? Sam's Club had these last year, but I'm in OH in Zone 6a. Wasn't sure if it was good in the area & no idea how to care for them. Can only plant in full sun - is this doable? Thank you for answer.
Hello, good video. I do have that type of hibiscus in red. I am in zone 9b, central Florida. The second one you mention I have it too and boy if you have to be careful with it. Those rhizomes they do procreate fast. Love the one you order.
Just subscribed yesterday :) The Bees love my Cone Flowers, all different and colors. My daughter just bought me a Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon Hibiscus, it is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing :)
Well Justin you didn’t cover my problem plant I’m dealing with. Impatients! They have been planted a couple months now but not flowering. Beautiful flowers when I first planted but now just pretty foliage. Outdoors, get direct and indirect sun during the day. Mostly shade in the evening. Depending on you Justin.
Great video! I love cone flowers!
love your energetic presentation
I put my hibiscus in a small kids pool - they love the consistent water and thrive.
Thank you for the info about Rose Mallow. Grew from seed this year and now I know more about growing them. 😊
Hello! Hibiscus grow in Québec zone 5 ! Echinacea is a native north american plant. They grow in the middle of Canada, in the plains.
Beautiful plants
Cone Flowers can be used for medicinal home remedies in soaps, vinegars, lotions and oils.
How about suggestions for bee loving flowers that I can plant around my veggie garden
That's a really good idea. Thank you for that!!!
Bees love all flowers lol
@@andybuckthorn8042 true! However, there are some types of flowers that attract better than others!
Lantana is a good one but put it in a big pot near your garden. If they're in the ground, they'll take over fast.
I used a bed of large head zinnias this year for the first time and noticed more bees but really noticed more moths and butterflies than usual.

Thank you for watching Denise! It really depends on how hungry the deer are. Typically the plants I mentioned are not what they go for first.
No dear around our garden. Ouf!

Thank you so much! They are one of my favorites as well!
Any suggestions for keeping the deer from eating my perennials? My "deer resistant " flowers have all been eaten
There are some really good sprays on the market. BOBBEX makes a spray that works extremely well. You can find it on Amazon.
@@skgreenhouse thank you!just ordered it. Crossing my fingers that it works

Love your videos! I learn so much. My canna leaves are turning brown. They’re in morning sun.
Thank you so much for watching. The brown leaves could be a result of drought stress or pests. 🤔

What a sweet gift! I added three three forms for Pink Chiffon. I’m so amazed by how floriferous and long-blooming they are!

You said how tall they get but now how wide when you said to give elbow room
Sorry! Forgot to mention they grow as wide as they do tall!
