Works even better if you already have a character you have invested in and can borrow their equipment to give your low level characters a fighting chance.
Great value for $25, if there was a darksiders 4 with all the horsemen of the apocalypse this should be it. Im loving Grendel specialy when i learned how to loop the weak and strong attacks endlessly using the typhon executioner weapon which breaks enemies and bosses fast 😊
@@hellbent2835 Grendel is absolutely amazing! I'm working on getting his awakening done and finalize a build for him. Figuring out the right attack combos is so utterly satisfying!
Glad you're enjoying it too. This game deserves more love
Good content. Not a lot of people covering this nowadays. So it’s cool to see a video.
Appreciate your comment! I am glad it was useful to you :)
Brother, keep this going. The wayfinder content is next to nothing out there right now and I’m sure there are many more people out there who are looking for the wayfinder content you’re putting out. Good stuff.💪🏽
@@GeneralGyoza appreciate your kind comment! I'll try to document more of the game mechanics.
This game deserves more buzz especially after not dying out
@@iamergoproxy3476 Agreed!
I want to put in more effort to spread the word, as they recently had to lay off people due to poor finances. That is tragic and very disheartening.
@@blatantly_icey if the industry wasn't so anti consumer and would listen to the people who spend their money on these games that would've been avoided. We are tired of the live service saturated market, been saying that for years.
@@iamergoproxy3476 Indeed! The game took a turn for the better, but it's still going to take a lot of effort to change the narrative/reviews in their favour. Thankfully reddit mostly has a community that likes the game, but that love needs to spread to other platforms as well. Steam still says "Mixed" on the reviews, and that's going to make sales a challenge.
Crossing my fingers, hoping it turns out into one of the best redemption arcs in the last decade!
@blatantly_icey in hindsight the way the game is now should've been how it launched IMO as the market is heavily saturated with live services (flops or otherwise) and we don't want that. Hogwarts Legacy, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok...single player games like these and more are what we want to see more of. The industry has strayed away from what ensures that gamers will want to invest in it: making something WE enjoy
@@iamergoproxy3476 I know right?! I will always campaign for games with a more cohesive single-player friendly experience than chaotic live-service lunacy.
I only got this game for Muscle Mommy Senja! My go to character to play only probably!
@@iuliuslovin37 Yeah she has a very interesting playstyle! Curious to know what kind of build you have on her.
@@blatantly_icey just started the game 2-3 days ago, still not level 30, almost level 30 and so far I don't really understand how the builds really works here and I can't find any guide either
@@iuliuslovin37 lovely to have new players join! Maybe I'll do a quickstarter guide in the future.
For now, here are a few tips:
1. You can spec into Ability Power (makes abilities stronger) or Weapon Power (more focused on Basic Attacks)+ Break Power (helps you break enemy armour)
2. Don't bother with leveling echoes until you finish the story. Just put on the highest level echoes you have for the stats you want and you'll be golden for the time being
3. It will be hard to come across 2 piece or 3 piece accessory sets initially, so just put on whatever gives you the most of your desirable stats.
4. Don't forget to keep using potions! Each lasts 30 minutes and you can stack 2 (1 offensive and 1 defensive generally, but there are some ancient ones that don't stack). It also gives you more exp so best to have it on all the time.
5. Your abilities and talents should be levelled up based on your playstyle preferences. The game gives decently clear descriptions of the nodes, so you should be able to figure it out.
6. You don't have to use a full armour set as there are no benefits to it. Pick the pieces from the different sets, whichever ones give you the highest stats for your preferred stat alignment
Bonus: try all the different weapons you come across. When you find the one you really like, you can work towards awakening it before other weapons.
All the best!
@@blatantly_icey Well Sonja doesn't have many damaging abilities besides the punch one, so I feel like focusing on damage with the weapon is the way to go. My type of weapon I like so far is the big greatsword that Sonja has :D another reason why I love her :D
I didn't level up any echo yet so I'm good and I just reached level 30 and used what I could find for everything. I didn't used more than the health potion, thinking I might keep them (I know hoarder). I just wish you could counter attacks with any weapon, blocking feels stale and I feel no impact or I don't even feel like I block. I initially started on the hardest difficulty and was fun until one point where I just switch to normal and now to story mode because was no point after learning that you get no advantages on a harder difficulty and the combat feels kind of clunky still and not smooth, so this doesn't helps me to want to challenge myself to do it on a harder difficulty, not to say that some things are not well balanced, like on normal in a dungeon a poison mage goblin summons a green circle around and I enter for like 2 seconds in it and I die lol, no time for reaction for something that doesn't even looks dangerous lol
@@iuliuslovin37 Hahahah sounds like you're having fun. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I bought this game recently for 25 bucks and it's the best money I spent in a while. I beat the game but haven't tried every wayfinder but the one I just don't like is Ness...
@@iamergoproxy3476 Niss is the most complicated character out of the entire roster now. She has one of the highest burst damage potential, and the most i-frames built into her kit.
But yeah, if her playstyle is not to your tastes, I can see how she's might not seen that appealing.
@@blatantly_icey ill still level her to 30 so all 7 will be max but she ain't getting used...venomness tho
@@iamergoproxy3476 I'm a venomess main too, so I know what you're about
@@blatantly_icey I want to main her but atm I'm running Silo. Those 2 are the characters I've used the most
@@iamergoproxy3476 I am personally struggling with Silo haha!
Haven't figured out how to build him yet, or what weapon to use.
FIRST, I'VE BEEN EDGE MAXING SO HARD IN THESE COMMENTS THAT I'VE FARMED TOO MANY W'S. NOW THAT I AM A TRUE BASKER OF OHIO, I'VE RIZZED UP SO MANY GYATS THAT I SHALL EDGEVENTUALLY BE GOONING LIKE A REAL SIGMA. CLIP THAT CHAT. THANK YOU.
