But even the sun and moon had drank the the amrit the mn why do we count their avasta ?

Sun and moon are not nodes. Sun & Moon and all grahas have amrit. But rahu and ketu are part of earth. They are not sumwhere else. Thats why. They being the part of earth's cycle and still not able to age. Rest all planets are away from earth... Whereas rahu and ketu are situated on this prithvi and still immortal. No other grahs are situated on prithvi and still immortal.

All the grahs are away from earth. And hence their age means their prabhav on the earth. But rahu and ketu are a part of prithvi. And being the part of earth, still immortal. Others are not on this prithvi...

Moreover, the age of sun and moon change in every sign, whereas the age of rahu and ketu doesn't change wrt to their movement. As they give equal amount of influence. Age is nothing but knowing the amount of influence. So, nodes give equal influence on any degree.
