went for kata as well for nationals in my country. Got top 64 8-2. In this meta you just destroy enel and have a good match up vs saka. Pluffy can be annoying but its still winnable
Enel has fewer bad matchups but Kata is better into the top meta decks imo. Depends on whats being played tbh. Enel and saka are very popular right now thats I prefer kata over enel atm@@Gjaku
Is there a reason why @4:44 when you dropped 10c BM you didn't swing into Sakazuki with lead for 5? Only reasoning I can come up with is you had 2 more in hand already and wanted to guarantee the value from them instead of giving him a chance to take a life... I would normally imagine attempting to get a card from hand is better but I suppose if he takes the life that's 1 extra card he normally wouldn't have.
It entirely depends on if my opp has dropped a unit on t2(3don), double swing is better than 7k into pero because your pero just gets bottomed then you have to deal with 2 swings now, if you dont play anything they are forced to play more passive which is what you want at the start.
Im so damn sick of yellow, everyone complained about red but yellow is so much worse, very easy to play and can win on triggers alone. Not to mention the most overpowered onplay 10c BM that is not restricted zzz
Yellow wasn’t a problem until op05 with the new cards. They really only had Thunderbolt for removal, but now have gedatsu and amaru. Plus they’re getting even more removal in the next set. However even with all this, they are still not as consistent as red at their peak (not yet at least). Red was too consistent and always found everything they needed every time. WB is also annoying af and just gatekeeps so many decks.
i went top 32 treasure cup and beat 3 katas with sakazuki its an easy matchup. you just rush them destroy there board every turn and trash life when 7 big mom comes.

if kata drops 2 10moms its almost IMPOSSIBLE for saka to win
Yep had played 5 games with a random kata guy on the sim 2 bigmoms its over for saka i could not find a way to win and i tried really hard

Do you intentionally not play 3c Perospero on T2? Is it better to swing 3 DON on Pudding?

Get better then cry baby. Red has been dominating so many tournaments since the card game came out... Until op-05 came out now yellow has got better.
