My son is only 2.5 but I’m thinking of becoming a single mom soon.
I know it sounds crazy to some but that dead-soul dad vibe your ex was giving (no offense but I felt it when you were preg and I later felt the same from my own)
I know it sounds rude but being in a now empty 7 year relationship I dream of putting less energy into him and all into my babe ❤
@@JustMe-of6nx putting your baby first doesn’t look the same for everyone .. sometimes doing what’s best is to leave (doesn’t mean you haven’t tried, this outcome is not a ‘failure’ or means of ‘leaving’ in all situations, in some it’s freedom and health) and ensure your child has a healthy environment. I understand it may be hard to wrap your head around ‘why would someone have a baby if it’s been a 7 year empty relationship’ mindset but life happens .. as humans we make mistakes, especially when it comes to love and a lot of times these journeys are what lead us to finding our own self love .. it’s only after all these trials that we get to a point of self love and clarity -and are able to reflect on the past, in this case 7 years.. then you must find balance of what’s best for your child and yourself, make logical decisions and you can only learn keep learning and growing .. make better mistakes for better reasons in the future cause we’re human 🤍
@@JustMe-of6nx not empty for 7 years. Very good and loving in the beginning but after over a decade in law enforcement he has become a shell of the man I met and traveled the world with. He loves his son and I love that about him but after he has gone through years of therapy at my urging, still nothing. It’s draining and a very well known thing that law enforcement relationships are troubled because they are always on such high alert they come home and crumble. I have tried to be positive for years but at this point I don’t want my son to see his dad as a panic-stricken and sick man who can’t attend any family functions rather than someone who has time for a mental break alone while i create a healthy, calm environment for him.
I know it’s not glamorous and I have communicated with him more than enough but also can’t keep putting myself last. I am sorry if my comment seemed too casual but I realize she struggled and admire her openness and positivity.

Most of our relationship was good but due to stress there has been so much damage done.
I understand on a general channel but on BB’s channel to not understand that you might love someone for years, have a baby after a downward spiral has just begun, and then still need time to accept a new future makes me thinks they’re in the wrong place on UA-cam.
